Comment on SMAppService: How to recover from broken LaunchDaemon registration in Login Items
Thanks, sftool resetbtm fixed it for me :) It also cleaned out the two entries (one Apple, one Unknown Developer) I had on my system ever since I upgraded to Ventura (from a clean Monterey install). The state is persisted to preserve user intent. Not sure that is what I would expect for apps that I have deleted. I think I would not want entries (and the consent I may have given) to persist for apps I'm no longer using.

Comment on AssociatedBundleIdentifiers for LaunchAgents/Daemons
Thanks for that info, I was desperately trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Comment on SMAppService: How to recover from broken LaunchDaemon registration in Login Items
Thanks sftool resetbtm fixed it for me :) I'm not so sure whether I would expect this behavior as a user – if I delete an app, I usually want to get rid of any permissions I gave to that app. And I probably wouldn't want this list in settings to grow indefinitely, containing any app with login items I've ever had installed.
