I used .tint(.yellow) to change the default back button color. However, I noticed that the color of the alert button text, except for .destructive, also changed. Is this a bug or Apple’s intended behavior?
this occurs in iOS 18.1 and 18.1.1
Below is my code:
// App
struct TintTestApp: App {
var body: some Scene {
WindowGroup {
MainView()
.tint(.yellow)
}
}
}
// MainView
var mainContent: some View {
Text("Next")
.foregroundStyle(.white)
.onTapGesture {
isShowingAlert = true
}
.alert("Go Next View", isPresented: $isShowingAlert) {
Button("ok", role: .destructive) {
isNextButtonTapped = true
}
Button("cancel", role: .cancel) { }
}
}
thank you!

I am looking for a lightweight server that can run inside an app.
The key requirement is that it must support local IP communication over HTTPS.
I have searched Google and found several frameworks, but as far as I know, support for HTTPS in this environment has been discontinued or is no longer available.
If anyone knows a solution that meets these criteria, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Thank you in advance!😀

I am currently operating an app using an embedded web server that communicates over local HTTP.
Recently, when opening Safari, I started encountering the following error message:
"Safari cannot open the page. Error: Failed to navigate to an HTTP URL with HTTPS-only mode enabled."
However, I am currently in a situation where switching to HTTPS is difficult. Are there any solutions to resolve this issue besides using HTTPS?
Thank you.🙏
If "Not Secure Connection Warnings" is enabled in the Settings > App > Safari, are no HTTP connections allowed? Setting NSAppTransportSecurity does not seem to apply either.

Are there specific guidelines for submitting MDM (Mobile Device Management) apps to the App Store? 🥺
Hello,
I am a developer operating an MDM (Mobile Device Management) app.
My app has only the functionality to disable/enable the camera, and the profile download is done through Safari.
There have been no changes in the guidelines in all the years that I have undergone review, and the app has passed the review process until now.
However, this time the app was rejected for installing a configuration profile that disables the camera. (guideline 2.5.9)
Could you please let me know if it is possible to request a re-review, or if MDM apps are no longer allowed on the App Store?
Thank you for your assistance.

I'm posting a question here as I have encountered an issue while seeking help from engineers in the thread. thread773837
If the "Not Secure Connection Warnings" is enabled in Settings > App > Safari, are HTTP connections not allowed under any circumstances?
I also posted a question about NSAllowsLocalNetworking not being applied, and I was informed that ATS (App Transport Security) is not related to SFSafariViewController. If that's the case, what feature causes the error "Safari cannot open the page. Error: Failed to navigate to an HTTP URL with HTTPS-only mode enabled"?
I am currently working to resolve this issue.
Hello,
I am an iOS developer managing an MDM app.
In this app, we are only using the camera restriction feature.
Can the MDM status (specifically, the camera state) be changed while the user's screen is locked?
We want to communicate with our server in the background and apply changes, but there is no known information about this.
I would appreciate your help!

There is no official documentation specifying the exact criteria for determining a CLVisit.
For example, if a user starts at a target location, will the following method be called?
func locationManager(_ manager: CLLocationManager, didVisit visit: CLVisit)
This did not work during my testing.
It was only successfully triggered when starting from a distant location and arriving at the target point.
It would be helpful to know the exact conditions, such as how long a user must stay at a location for it to be considered a visit. Are there any specific thresholds (e.g., minimum duration, distance moved) that determine when this method is triggered?

I am a developer distributing an enterprise app.
Recently, some users have intermittently encountered an error message on iOS 18.5 stating:
"Unable to install this app because its integrity could not be verified."
While the issue could not be reproduced on iPhone 15 / iOS 18.5, we have received reports that it does occur on the following devices:
iPhone 14 / iOS 18.5,
iPhone 14 Pro / iOS 18.5,
iPhone 14 Plus / iOS 18.5,
iPhone 16 Pro Max / iOS 18.5,
Are there any known issues or recommended solutions regarding this behavior?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Issue Description:
We are experiencing MDM profile installation failures specifically on iPhone 17
devices. After extensive testing and comparison between affected and working
devices, we suspect this appears to be a parameter transmission error rather
than device settings.
Technical Analysis:
Device Settings Comparison: No differences found between problematic and
working devices in system settings, indicating this is not a configuration
issue.
Suspected Parameter Transmission Error:
• Device model information appears to be restricted or blocked during profile
download
• User ID and phone number parameters are not being transmitted to the server
• Installation logs show missing login ID and phone number entries
Symptoms:
• During MDM profile installation, the "Apps & Restrictions" section that should
appear is missing
• Profile download parameters are suspected to not be properly transmitted to
the server
• Installation process fails at the profile configuration stage
Critical Finding:
When we cloned a previously working device to create a problematic device
configuration, the cloned device also began experiencing the same installation
failures. This strongly suggests the issue is related to device-specific
parameters or identifiers.
Additional Information:
We continue to receive reports of this issue from our iPhone 17 users, and these
reports are occurring across various iOS versions.
Request for Assistance:
Has anyone encountered similar MDM profile installation issues on iPhone 17? Are
there known limitations or changes in how device parameters are transmitted
during MDM enrollment on this model?
Any guidance on debugging parameter transmission or known workarounds would be
greatly appreciated.
