Guideline 1.2 - Safety - User-Generated Content
Hi, I always get this app rejection: Next Steps To resolve this issue, please revise your app to implement the following precautions: Require that users agree to terms (EULA) and these terms must make it clear that there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users A method for filtering objectionable content A mechanism for users to flag objectionable content A mechanism for users to block abusive users The developer must act on objectionable content reports within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided the offending content I implemented an EULA with a zero-tolerance policy when the app is started the first time and needs to be accepted. I have a method for filtering content, so the user can specify himself what he wants to filter. I have a mechanism to report content and a backend to delete messages/ban users. Users can also block other users if they want to. So, at this point I'm not sure what else I need to change.

How to submit an app that gets approved immediately?
Hello, I would like to know how I can submit apps that get approved immediately. I have currently 2 accepted apps, 1 got denied and 1 is pending. In total 4 apps. To get these 2 accepted apps I had to make changes and it was a back and forth between me and the App Store review team. The one which is pending is a free browser (I don't charge anything, no paywall, no paid features, everything free). They rejected v1.0 and send me a list of question that I have to answer about my business model(?). Which business model? This app is free. :-)

App Encryption Documentation (France) approval + first iOS review - average release time
Hello, my first app for macOS got approved within 72 hours which was nice + updates were approved fast. But my other submission for iOS got rejected (Moderation tools and content filtering was missing), then I provided an update (fixing these guideline issues) and waited but nothing happened. With the fixed update my app supports also encryption which means I can only distribute in France if I upload the "App Encryption Documentation" for France, which I of course did. Now before resubmitting the app, I have to wait until this document for France is getting reviewed. I wonder how long this is going to take. Do you think I can expect a release until Friday? Can't wait to start my advertisement campaign. :)

I don't understand the review.
Hello, I got my app rejected by review, and they're telling me this. I myself cannot identify the objectionable content. I asked for more precise explanation but maybe you can help me. This is the response I got: Hello, Thank you for submitting an update to the app, WirelessChat Connect, for review. We noticed some issues that require your attention. Please see below for additional information. If you have any questions, we are here to help. Reply to this message in App Store Connect and let us know. Review Environment Submission ID: 6150dca8-8bb7-4787-b045-5b10b9c437d0 Review date: March 19, 2026 Review Device: iPad Air 11-inch (M3) Version reviewed: 1.0.2 Guideline 1.1 - Safety - Objectionable Content Issue Description The app's marketing includes terms or images that reference objectionable content or services. These references can be found in the app's metadata, including, but not limited to, the following metadata field(s): description. Apps on the App Store should be safe and appropriate for a general audience. App marketing should not include references to objectionable content or features that could be used to create objectionable content. Next Steps Do not submit apps for review that market themselves as containing objectionable content. Additionally, do not submit apps that contain any service that provides, or could be used to create, objectionable content. Resubmitting this app without making the appropriate changes, or submitting a new app with similar marketing and concept, will result in the same or additional App Review Guideline violations.
