One more interesting thing I just noticed. If I open the Developer app on my Mac again, under my account, I see the following message: Enrollment through the Apple Developer app is not available for this Apple Account. Did something go wrong during my sign up, and if so how come I got charged already?

There's up to 48h of possible waiting required for payment processing. There was another issue specific to my account that I resolved over a phone call.
