Hey, i am new in the apple forum thread. I came across your second question and i am seeing that the issue still persists. I have had the same problem with one my apps which took more than 3 months to get approved. Apple Review team regardless all the requests i sent wasn't able to resolve the issue. I reseted all the builds to the point when i had submitted the first build, and resubmitted again the new version, after that the review was completed much faster. It took some days but it was resolved and i haven't had problem till then. These are unique cases so hopefully this will help you too.
