An awful lot of word salad going on here. Why not just change the passwords for your Apple IDs? Do you have physical access to the devices? Delete the certificates. Wipe the devices if you have to. There's no way a certificate would survive a wipe. Besides, the Developer Forums aren't the place for your issue.

What OS is this? What do you mean by the app going into the background - do you mean when it's no longer the foreground app (or you've gone to the Home Screen); or that the app has actually gone into background mode? You need to debug your app and see what's happening at each stage of the app's lifecycle.

Does it work on a different iPad? Have you tried forgetting the device and reattaching it? (Settings app > Bluetooth > Apple Pencil > little round info button > Forget This Device.)

That's not where you download a simulator for a specific device. If you look at your screenshot of the Platforms tab all the downloaded simulators are for a specific version of an OS = a platform - not a device. Open the Devices & Simulators window from the Window menu, and add a new simulator. You can pick the device from a dropdown.

This is pure nonsense. There is no need for any phone manufacturer to add a scale to the screen. It would be over-engineering for one tiny use case. Not gonna happen. It is a bug, but it's a bug in your code. Right before showPopover = true you need to have showSheet = false. And right before showSheet = true you need showPopover = false. These two additions will revert the status of the other item so they aren't shown anymore. You received that "Attempt to present" error because you already had something presented, and were trying to present a second view over the top, which you can't do.
