You can get the public beta on any device you want, as long as it's supported, but I'd wait because the full release is only a couple of weeks away.

It's called "reverse geocoding". Try this quick tutorial on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wxE8byc2FQ It's from 3 years ago, and for Swift 4.2 and Xcode 10, so it might be a little out of date, but I think it should still work as you need.

Is your device listed in your Developer profile on the website? I'm not sure, and I'm possibly wrong, but does your device have to be one of your development devices for it to get the Developer Betas?

Reply to iOS 18.1 is the only version that will download

Check which version you have installed in Settings > General > About, then compare it with the latest version Apple released. RCS, I believe, needs to be supported by your carrier.
