I've experienced a variety of similar bugs with AppleScripts controlling Music and TV that were functional for years before MacOS 26. I saw that Doug's Scripts just released a bunch of new and updated Music scripts in the last few weeks, he told me that there has been progress with these bugs in some of the beta updates to the OS. Not sure when these will be released publicly.
