Hi There.
I am trying to complete the DSA Act verification on developer.apple.com under the business section. However, when doing so I enter the contact information, and I do receive the 6-digit code on my email. After entering the OTP, I see an error : This action could not be completed because of an error.
Too many verification codes have been sent to this number. Try again later.
My question is, why do I get this error as the OTP was sent on email and not to my phone. I have raised 2 Apple cases for the same issue both of which apple has not responded and has gone quite.
After opening the first case I was on call with a developer agent waiting for 2 hours on call to which they responded me to try after 48 hours to cool down. Even after 48 hours I see same issue post which I Create a new case to get some response. The Apple team then asked me to share recording and screen shots post which they have gone silent. Even with the first case I did send them the recording and other technical details but there have been no response.
This is a complete customer failure on Apple side. I genuinely believe this issue is purely on Apple's backend which needs to be escalated as to why I see this error. This is a brand new account, so ideally should not have any problem doing the DSA verification. Without the DSA verification, I cannot test my App on TestFlight with external testers and publish my App to the App Store. This issue has been open for
3-4 weeks now without any response from Apple
