Clicking on the Developer program tag reveals that this is unfortunately normal! My goodness, the situation is bad! How can Apple get away with what is essentially theft? There are countless (recent) posts saying exactly the same thing: people pay $99 and then just get sidelined! WHAT THE HELL APPLE? No, this is wrong. We need to get together and take legal action!

Same thing here. They take your $99 immediately and then just go silent. That's called theft in my books. We need to do something about this abusive treatment!

They take your money instantly. Then just forget about you. It's not right. We need to protest somehow. $99 is a lot of money especially outside the US & EU. Really Apple, how can you treat developers like this?
