MagSafe charging light problem
Dear Apple, It looks likes Apple like my new idea, and a lot. I know this as Apple always want their things to be easily understandable, and for MagSafe to be understandable it has to mimic macOS. I got an unreliable reply for the first post, just a person telling me I’m in the wrong place for this. The MagSafe is amazing, but everything needs to be upgraded in some way or the other, DTS engineers are saying that developer forums are for developing, not feedback. So here I am, developing the MagSafe wire, as I would by now rather get a third-party MagSafe wire if mine possibly breaks. $49. This is the price tag for an official MagSafe wire. If it can’t show anything but charging and charged, it’s something that must be reproduced. We have the hardware, we have the red and green diodes in the MagSafe, we just need to turn both of them on to make yellow. We have the hardware, and physics is helping us by saying: “Red + green light = yellow light.” This isn’t as complicated as π, so please implement it and let over 100 million users feel that MagSafe is finally worth the price. It is extremely simple, no new tests, no new safety certifications, just a new code you can forget about once released. Charging Limit misalignment, 80% or 94%?
Hello Apple, I have been facing an issue with charging, although I have beta updates off, but I faced an issue that in my opinion should show pulsing Amber on MagSafe, like I mentioned in my other thread. The MagSafe was glowing amber. Ok, can’t be on 80% yet. I opened the lid, and I found something I never expected: Although it was supposed to stop on 80%, it continued to 94% with no user notification. This happens every once in a while, but isn’t extremely rare. Last time this happened was about a week after macOS 26.5 was launched. I was running macOS 26.5 when this occurred Please consider this as an issue that needs to be fixed, and one of the ways is the MagSafe update, so the user at least knows something is wrong in case something like this ever happens. Please ask me for more information regarding this issue if needed. I am ready to mark the other post as answered if this gets a good reply, and keep in mind that I am conscious of what im doing, so please give this a good read and reply. Please do not count this as spam, I am only doing this to get it fixed, it may seem like a never reported before issue, but it’s still a real one. Mission Control Window Management update
Dear Apple, I am sending feedback regarding the desktop management of macOS to improve the user experience. Mission Control currently only has a “+” button to the right, meaning that all new desktops are forced to the right side of the line. Adding an identical “+” button to the left will increase ease of using the OS, as I don’t necessarily need every new desktop to be on the right side. This will increase usability and make using desktops significantly easier than manually dragging them into the needed positions every time I add a desktop. Another thing is that when I maximize apps, all desktops go to the left by one spot. There should be a setting where you can control where desktops go when maximizing screens, either you want every desktop to go to the right or the left. This makes things easier as sometimes I have my main app on the right, with all the multi-tasking on the left. If desktops move to the right instead of the left, no open apps will be interfered with. (Please put this setting in the “Desktop and Dock” section). I have been using macOS for a year now, and those details were quite clear. Please consider this as a software update for over 100 million Macbook users, increasing usability without changing the OS so much people barely know how to use it. I have been concentrating significantly on macOS lately, noticing an upgrade followed by another, and is how I noticed this. Please consider this a fresh start for my feedback. I apologize for my previous un-trained replies. I am not a trained professional, but I genuinely care about improving the user experience and wanted to share these layout ideas. MagSafe 4 LED physics
The MagSafe 3 cable is an amazing piece of engineering, showing charged as green and charging as amber. Please consider that "carging," being amber and "full" or "reached charging limit," is green, but for a high end company, you need to make the MagSafe wire more useful. A software MagSafe update, like macOS 26.5 was very noticeable for me, as i have the charging limit set on 80%. A new MagSafe 4 would be a simple MagSafe 3 update, creating MagSafe 4, introducing a yellow colour, to mimic macOS window controls. It is very simple, as both red and green diodes are already in MagSafe 3, light physics tells us that red+green=yellow. All we have to do is turn on both of those LED diodes, and we have yellow. MagSafe 4 should have the following: Amber:0%-50% Yellow:50%-90% Green: 90% + or reached charging limit Pulsing Amber: overheating or critical issue with power cut off Pulsing yellow: slow charger, under 30w for macbook air and under 70w for macbook pro. This should be very simple as its a few lines of code.

Charging limit misalignment, 80% limit vs 94% real life battery
I was recently charging my macbook, just like any normal time i do. i expected to see the battery at 80%, but the macbook was hiding a surprise for me. the magsafe glowed amber, so i knew it cant be on 80%, so when i opened the lid, the surprise was a shocking 94%. I didn't know what to expect, but my macbook is running macOS tahoe 26.5, so everything seemed normal to me until: someone please help in fixing this bug, as it isn't the first time this happens to me. please link this to my magsafe 4 idea here, as the magsafe could activate pulsing amber (1 second on 1 second off, for both amber and yellow pulsing lights) in case of failure to stop on set limit, making it visually much easier to understand if there is an issue.
