Hello,
Please take this seriously, MagSafe is amazing, and it can still be even better. I understand the policy, and am fully aware of it. This post got the same reply as the last one, the Apple's Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy. It's the same reply as the last post, meaning this post was no difference. As I mentioned again, im more than ready to accept the other post as answered if this is actually implemented. the code is right here. the idea is here. the person adding yellow to MagSafe is here. there are already the diodes we need in MagSafe. no new hardware. no new shipments. as simple as that. please consider this seriously. Why are apple ignoring me? Why not make it better? Why not let it mimic macOS window controls? Why not give it a new start? Why not make it more useful? Why not make it feel worth. The price? I hope this helps you implement it. Make MagSafe better. Make it the beginning of a new idea...and future.
Many Thanks to the experts here,
Alyaman

I understand your reply, but developer forums is for developing accessories and devices. Here i am. Developing magsafe. I honestly am not very interested in the policy. I want the yellow. I want the magsafe to feel worth $49 for once and for all. I want it to mimic macOS so it feels like a whole interconnected ecosystem, like apple always wanted. I am doing this for over 100 million macbook users, and trust me on this point, its worth it...
Please consider a proper reply, and a real implementation. I genuinely care about magsafe to be the best, and so it will be, if my idea goes out and loud. I am asking you, please please please consider this, I understand the policy, but it cant be that this policy is for everything...even the things doing Apple, and also 100 million users good. I am relying on your support from developer forums, and is the only way for it to be implemented. Please consider my code attached at the Original post, and please consider it for the next macOS update, maybe macOS 27.5. I really care about this, and please give it full attention. Here I am. Developing MagSafe. Gave the code. Can it be simpler than that?
Thanks,
Alyaman
Dear Apple,
I understand that it may seem that this idea is too simple for developer forums, although too complex for Apple Community. Please may i get a thoughtful reply on this? i understand what i have done before, and i apologise for that. Please take my magsafe idea, and reply on here for updtaes. i assure you i will never reply to posts here as i now realise developer forums is too complicated for me. Please accept my apology and take this as a fresh, serious start to the magsafe. let the magsafe glow, let it be the best it ever was.
Many Thanks to every developer here, but please consider this.
Thank you for your reply, i understand that i need to go to apple community, but please still consider this. Alongside the magsafe idea that solves this issue, as magsafe is supposed to pulse amber for such issue and cut off the power, the chip is already in magsafe, we just need the code.
Thanks

Hello @jbrownAPS,
You are right, the standard MFMailComposeViewController can't be customized to add a manual "Cancel" button to the interface.
It looks like a bug in how the new iPadOS update handles the sheet presentation for system controllers. Since the swipe-down gesture isn't working properly to dismiss it and the button disappeared, the layout is definitely broken.
To fix it on your end, you'll need to update your implementation. Explicitly setting the modalPresentationStyle to .formSheet before presenting the mail controller usually forces the navigation bar and the standard "Cancel" button to reappear on the iPad.
I hope this resolves your issue.
Thanks

This post has been there for 2 weeks now, I appreciate the fact that my feedback assistant feedback is still in open resolution since 10th May 2026, but my post here is showing over 2,200 views, showing high interest to fix this issue, and I have good intentions for Apple. If you don’t manage to add the pulsing yellow and amber yet due to testing delays, please add the yellow color at least. Hopefully I get an official, understandable, useful reply from someone, adding practicality to the amazing wire, MagSafe. Please consider im a new user to macOS, I have been using it for about 1 year now, but my first impressions on MagSafe were not very good, please fix this with MagSafe 4, or just at least a MagSafe 3 update. Apple proved they can do this by forcing a MagSafe update in macOS 26.5, so please consider this as possible. Other feedbacks have gained less views, although more attention. May I please get an official reply for this? May I get a good second impression on MagSafe? May I feel like it’s worth 49$? Please fix this in the closest update possible, and make the MagSafe the most unbeatable wire ever, the same way the MacBook is. I don't need a reply, I need it fixed. I don't need a feedback with no accepted answer, im ready to accept an answer that is easily understandable and clear, and if the answer is actually seen by apple and implemented as a software update.
All the best,
Alyaman

Thank you very much for helping to make the magsafe wire worth what people pay in case their magsafe was broken, but keeping in mind that the magsafe wire is $49, magsafe 4 becomes from feedback into a serious issue. If a $49 wire can't communicate anything except charged or charging, it's already a serious issue. meanwhile, a normal usb c to usb c cable has a maximum cost of $30. im shocked people didn't notice before me. Im in the right place for this, im not just sending feedback, but fixing a price:usability ratio.
Thanks

Thank you for the reply, Travis.
To clarify, I have beta updates off, so this is occurring on the public release, macOS tahoe 26.5. The core issue is the system bypassing the 80% limit without any user notification. This is exactly why I’m suggesting the hardware-level 'Pulsing' indicators for MagSafe 4—to bridge the gap when the software fails to communicate these discrepancies. Please consider MagSafe 4, to make communicating any issues unmistakable. i am in the right place for this, as i am trying to develop the magsafe wire, and is a 2-in-1, feedback and development, so please consider this as a development for over 100 million macbook users.
Thanks

Please consider: MagSafe is amazing, but adding a Yellow state (Red+Green diodes) is a logical UX upgrade for 100M+ users. My Feedback is open but shows "None Matched," since 10th of May. I noticed other MagSafe threads received internal attention; I’d love for this to be documented too. Let’s make MagSafe even better together, as one big apple company. It’s a great opportunity for hardware clarity. Keep in mind that i sent a feedback on the feedback assistant, and i have received no reply from any kind of source from apple, since 10th of May. May someone tell me if there is a chance that magsafe 4 will be implemented in a future update please?
Sincerely,
Alyaman
Thank you, but please consider that i already submitted a feature request on feedback assistant.
please consider the attachment.
