I was able to download the recovery image now, the installation goes through normally, and the iPhone restarts to the iOS 26 Welcome screen, but once again, the touch doesn’t work; no part of the screen responds to touch. I hope this gets fixed soon. My iPhone has never been opened or had the screen replaced.
