Hi, Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, cropping the filtered image didn't do the trick. The filter effect is still bleeding into the background image. It's odd that no such behavior is exhibited when using CIBlendWithAlphaMask! Thank you for the tip about generating a colored image, it works perfectly.
