Hey everyone,
I'm in a bit of a frustrating situation and could really use some advice from anyone who's been through something similar.
So here's what happened: I built a VPN app and submitted it from my personal developer account a few months ago. It got rejected because apparently VPN apps need to be submitted under an organization account, not individual.
I went ahead and created a new organization developer account, deleted the app from my personal account, and resubmitted the exact same app. Same code, same assets, everything identical - just from the new organization account.
Now I keep getting 4.3(a) spam rejections. I'm pretty sure it's because Apple's system is flagging this as "the same app from different accounts" even though I legitimately needed to switch account types.
I've tried explaining this in my appeal responses but they just keep sending back the same 4.3(a) rejection template. I'm starting to think the reviewers aren't even reading my explanations.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there a way to get through to them that this isn't spam, just an account type correction? Or am I basically screwed and need to rebuild everything from scratch?
Really frustrated here because it feels like I'm being penalized for following their own requirements about organization accounts for VPN apps.
Any suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks!
