Reply to Reality Composer Pro exports to 'reality' file
Thank you for this. I was running this on machine without MacOS27beta on it. The export functions are there on the iMac that has been updated. The lack of animations on an exported USDZ file is disappointing. I was recommending it when students were creating interactive apps made with Reality Composer 2 apps, so their work could be shared through a museum archive. It's weird, though. The RCP2 suitcase, which has several meshes inside is 2.6Mb, while the RCP3 suitcase, which has no interactivity or things inside, is 2.9Mb. It's more than just a mesh. I can make these files available if you like. The USDZ interactivity from RCP2 worked great on the VisionPro.

Reply to How complicated should a tap-to-open animation for a box be in RCP3?
Thank you very much! I had managed to have it open, but only to the final state using Set Transform. That node has 'rotation' instead of 'orientation'. I was going to try the move, but didn't understand how 'orientation' was ''rotation'. Any idea who a move node would require two clicks to activate the first time where the transform node activated with a single click?

Reply to BundleID identifier problems for new version of app
So the major part of this problem is that whatever bundleID you change to will not be registered by Xcode until you quit and restart the program, and reopen your file. If you don't it will consistently fail, no matter how many times you change it, Unless you restart Xcode. Second problem is that the bundleID on the app had a capital letter in it, but the bundleID on the App Store did not. This is Xcode 15. I have not changed this bundleID since first uploading to the App Store, so it changed the capitalization I used before internally to the App Store. This was around February or April, I think. This app is using the same code for the original app on the App Store. My original bundleID (Used in Xcode for the first version) was, say, "com.DefaultCompany.GarbagetruckAR". On the App Store this was changed to ""com.DefaultCompany.garbagetruckAR" back in February or April, but I did not have to change it in Xcode six months ago, it was de-capitalized internally. Now it fails, even though it is basically the same app. That's where the frustration really set in. I have since changed the capital letter and restarted Xcode and the app has been sent to TestFlight. There are still issues within Xcode that I have to send feedback for (if you use the custom setting for archiving, the SKU will be your bundleID, which is incorrect)

Thank you. I hope this gives a bit of context to the way I have it set up. When the Move nodes are replaced with instant-open transforms, it is only one click to open the lid. If they are move nodes, the first time needs two opens. This has logic to click on the lid to open and close it. I can make the project available, if you like.

Thank you. It would have been better to reframe this as a question: "How do you export a Reality Composer 3 project as an interactive USDZ file?"

Reply to Can't find Apple Intelligence on iPhone 15 Pro Max after Updating to iOS 18.2 beta
I noticed it was very specific to location and keyboard. I had my keyboard set at US but I set it to Canada and it showed up. i also restarted, just in case. Now my phone, iPad and Mac all show spiffy apple intelligence.

Reply to BundleID identifier problems for new version of app
If someone is reviewing this please edit the second app identifier to remove the app specifics.
