Apple Developer Program Enrollment Redirects to Canada Despite US Apple Account Region
Hi everyone, I'm currently enrolling in the Apple Developer Program as an Organization, using my company's verified D‑U‑N‑S Number. I've successfully completed the enrollment and identity verification steps and have reached the final payment stage. However, I've encountered an unexpected issue. My Apple Account Country/Region is set to the United States, but when I proceed to complete the Developer Program membership payment, Apple automatically redirects me to the Canadian Apple Store checkout. Here's what I'm seeing: Apple Account Region: United States Enrollment Type: Organization (using D‑U‑N‑S Number) Checkout URL: secure8.store.apple.com/ca/shop/checkout Membership Fee: C$119 instead of US$99 Billing Country: Canada (automatically selected and cannot be changed) Enrollment Status: Identity verification completed; awaiting payment I've confirmed through my Apple Account settings that my country/region is United States, so I'm unsure why the enrollment checkout is associated with Canada. My questions are: Has anyone experienced this issue during Apple Developer Program enrollment? Does Apple determine the enrollment payment storefront based on the Apple Account region, the organization's D‑U‑N‑S registration country, or another factor? Is there a way to correct the checkout country without restarting the enrollment or repeating identity verification? If I proceed with the Canadian checkout, could it cause issues later with App Store Connect, organization verification, banking, tax information, or publishing apps globally? Has anyone successfully resolved this through Apple Developer Support? I haven't completed the payment yet because I'd prefer to ensure the organization's enrollment details are accurate before proceeding. I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has encountered and resolved something similar. Thanks in advance!
