I'm in a pretty similar situation.
Because of a bug in Connect, I can't submit a very critical update for review for a whole month! I've been waiting for a fix from engineering team at Apple.
At some point in time they stopped responding to my inquiries.
Weird enough, somehow nobody answers my calls to Developer Support line for the last 10 days (yesterday I waited for 1.5 hours on the line).
When they were answering, they were telling me that Dev Support gets congested during WWDC week, but even that congestion shouldn't have taken this long. I really don't know what to do.
