I had the same issue. The app was installed and its settings were visible in the Settings app. I tapped on Siri & Search and turned off "Show App in Search" and then turned it on again and all was well.

It's working fine with the new beta.

Broken here too on beta 10. /usr/bin/kmutil load -p /System/Library/Extensions/smbfs.kext and sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/smbfs.kext do not fix it for me.
