Comment on Big Sur panic when connect/disconnect usb-c dock
Have you tried connecting the monitor with a USB-C to HDMI cable? Avoid plugging it in through a dock/adapter. Also, check if your monitor can be setup to use DisplayPort 1.1. My Dell monitor uses DP 1.2 by default but it can be disabled via the monitor on-screen menu -> Display -> DP 1.2 -> Disable. Once I turned off DP 1.2 I never had another crash.

Upgrading your docking station is unlikely to make any difference. In fact, you're likely to get kernel panics even if you connect your monitor directly to your laptop (and not through a docking station). If you're using a DisplayPort connection I'd suggest trying a USB-C to HDMI cable instead - this did the trick for me. Also, if your monitor supports it, disabling DisplayPort 1.2 also fixed the issue in my case.

Does your monitor support HDMI? If so I'd suggest trying a USB-C to HDMI cable. That's fixed the issue for me.

Are you connecting with DisplayPort. If so, try using a USB-C to HDMI instead. The issue in my case was exclusively affecting DisplayPort connections.

Your crash report is slightly different: "Kernel trap at...". Most of the reports in this thread are "element modified after free", so your issue might not be the same.

If only Apple would bother porting the fix back to Big Sur for those who can't upgrade... my work laptop usually lags behind the latest release by 6 months as it takes a lot of time for my company to test and certify all corporate software.

Can you share more details about your machine and setup? Are you using a dock, and if so which brand/model? What about your monitor? Are the crashes happening when you connect or disconnect the monitor? Are you connecting it via HDMI or DisplayPort?
