Apps "In Review" for long time

I used to submit games and they were reviewed within a week's time till mid-2018 but since September, my games keep going to "In Review" status and stay in that status for ever.

I did try to cancel the submission and re-submit it, but every time, it goes to "In Review" within 24 hours and stays in same status for weeks. Its been at-least a month for 1 of my app and almost 3 weeks for another.

Any one else also facing similar issues?

Hi @Andreas @AppReview, my app again is stuck in "In Review", Apple ID 1422822192, because Apple Review Team have decided, that we provide access to the app on sanctioned territories (which isn't true and Users from these territories cannot download our application). We provided clarifications and even screencast from our app to make it clear for the Review Team.

Can you please highlight this issue for Apple Review Team, who are currently review the app? Because we were given 14 days to provide info and resolve it, but still don't receive any feedback from them.

Hello, @Andreas @AppReview, can anyone assist with the review of app with id 1458104274 since it is still in review since 31 may 2023

Hi @Andreas@AppReview my app (id 6450652729) stuck in review without any further information and I can't get a response for more than 4 days. Could you help, please? @Andreas@AppReview

We are developers of the sports category Footballant. Generally, the review will be faster within the week and slower on the weekends. Please do not submit for review during holidays. This is some of my experience and I hope it can help you.

Hi, my submission has been "waiting for review" since January 20th. My first submission was in January 7th. I was notified that something was wrong with my version number so I updated it. I haven't received an update since my second submission. This is my first time submitting to the App Store and I truly earnestly would like to do everything right. If there is anything I'm missing I'm happy to read any resources that I need to in order to make it easier. My submission ID is 0593a362-6f64-4a54-91e6-dece507ca892. My app ID is 6451201753.

I'd be extremely grateful for any help. Thank you.

Best, Miguel Coder

Hi @Andreas@AppReview, I am facing the same problem. I uploaded 2 apps and i got rejected. Then after resolving the issues mentioned by the reviewer, I uploaded another new version on Mar 17. Then I tried to change the build number and again uploaded, but no luck. It still in Waiting for review in 14 days.

I tried to contact the App Review 3 times by submitting the details, but every time got an automated response from their side. How can we contact the App Review team to resolve this.

Does anyone has got any resolution? Please help.

Note: I went to set the publishing of my game to manual, which makes the problem being from being stuck in "processing for distribution" instead of "in review". I've had this issue a couple months ago, but I managed to get across this problem. I went to contact Apple to inform them about the issue I was going through and they fixed it in two weeks. Hope this helps!

Hello @Andreas @AppReview, our app (ID: 6503051862) has been stuck in review for over 1 month. Could you please assist in reminding the review team?

Hi @Andreas@AppReview,

I'm experiencing an issue with my app submission (Submission ID: 9a01e4a4-80d6-47e1-a685-bc113b4aab0a). After initially addressing the reviewer’s feedback and making the required updates, I submitted on Oct 22, 2024. but the app has remained in "In Review" status for weeks.

I have contacted the App Review team with submission details, but each time, I received only an automated response. Is there any way to connect directly with the review team to resolve this?

Has anyone else encountered this, or found a solution? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

It is really a bad experience when the app goes into long time "In Review", as we could never know what happened on earth. I just make my app "ROM Emulator" better than previous version, while it is stuck in review for days now, it makes me a little frustrating as it seems to tell me "do not update your app?" However, if we have found some issues or we find that we could make the app better, we really want to take it to users in time, so that we can make sure the user get the best experience. You know, apple guidelines have allowed emulators, I really do not know what makes the app "In review" so long time!

I think the apple reviewer is just so busy, though 3 days is very little possibility to happen, the holidays does affect the review process. Good news, my app has been approved!

Hello, Our app stuck on "In Review" status for almost 1 month and we don't know what's happening!

App ID: 6741584919

Please accept or reject with details our app.

Thanks.

I tried to contact the App Review 2 times already, one person just told me there's nothing they can do. Another person said they expedited the review process

it's been 8 days and the app is still in "In Review" phase I've tried removing and adding the app (in total this is the 20th day)

stuck for 3 weeks. Expedited. no 3rd party or open source libraries. 3MB size binary. no private API used. nothing special.

worst of all, we see that app is NOT BEING OPENED by reviewers. there is zero traffic from build we submitted (looking at User Agent at server logs that contains Build Number). dev support is beyond useless.

Steve Jobs is spinning in his grave. shame on apple.

It is really a very bad experience when the app is "In Review" for more than 3 days, I really wonder what they are doing, and why they did like this, to reject or accept is not that difficult, if they do not tell the developer what blocks the review process, how can we know what happened on earth?
