Submitting an app that requires another app

I'm currently working on an OSX app that requires a user to have Spotify installed. (If the user doesn't have Spotify, the app will still run–it will just be useless) It seems like this sort of thing is allowed because I see plenty of apps in the Mac App Store that use Spotify, but do I need to make any special notes of this in my app submission to make sure it's approved?

Yes, I would mention that in the review notes (meta data) _and_ description, but don't assume anything will 'make sure it's approved'.

Hi! I'm developing an app similar to this (app runs without spotify but it will be useless). Did you manage to get this app approved? Could I please ask how you managed to address Guideline 4.2.3 - Design - Minimum Functionality, where the app is required to run on launch without requiring other apps to be installed?
