Unable to get apple pay dialog upon clicking pay

Hi, I am unable to get the apple pay dialog when I click apple pay button on https://applepaydemo.apple.com I've logged in to my tester appleId on my macOS 11.6.1 and I'm using safari 15.0. When I click pay, I instantly get this:

Payment cancelled by WebKit:

session.oncancel

The behaviour that my colleagues get is that Apple Pay dialog pops up. Is there an issue with my tester account? The steps I've taken:

My team lead has created my tester Apple ID
I logged out of my real Apple ID and loged in with tester
Added several test cards
Made sure "Allow websites to check for Apple Pay and Apple Card" is enabled in safari

Are there any more step I could try?

hi Go to Settings -> Apple Pay & Wallet and make sure the switch next to Double-Click Side Button is turned on. If the switch is white and positioned to the left, tap it to turn it on. You'll know the double-click feature is on when the switch is green

Thank you @sonalii. I did not find the double-click side button in "Wallet & Apple Pay", However googling about it I read about touch ID etc... So I tried with my laptop lid open and suddenly the dialog appeared as it should when I clicked  Pay. I just want to scream, I have bugged my teammates and tried for 2 days now. I always work with external monitor, it never occurred to me that it only works with laptop lid open!!! You can't imaging my frustration.
