App has been for a long time in a non releasable state

My recent experiences too have not been good. For my last app i waited 3 weeks to get approval. Long delays while approving the app, sometimes it takes more than 2 weeks.

You need to be persistent with Apple. If the delays are much longer than excepted, you should mentioned to apple review team.

i would suggest you send expedited request to apple letting them know that if they dont change the status you will re-submit the app.

if your app is not new in the store i think they will answer you by giving an excact timeframe when they will change app status or they will tell you to re-submit.

If the respose from their team is quick it means a bot is responding, usually if they respond in the next working day, there is a human who responds.

Hey, i am new in the apple forum thread. I came across your second question and i am seeing that the issue still persists. I have had the same problem with one my apps which took more than 3 months to get approved. Apple Review team regardless all the requests i sent wasn't able to resolve the issue. I reseted all the builds to the point when i had submitted the first build, and resubmitted again the new version, after that the review was completed much faster. It took some days but it was resolved and i haven't had problem till then.
