App rejected (Guideline 5.2.3 - Legal)

My app is a music player that allows users to purchase and stream my demo recordings from dropbox. I provided a signed statement that I own the rights to the content. But Apple rejected my app because "Your app contains content or features that may violate the rights of one or more third parties. Specifically, your app provides potentially unauthorized access to third-party audio or video streaming, catalogs, and discovery services."

Am I correct that Apple needs me to prove that I own the rights to the content? And if so, how can I do that?

It seems so. Is it an original content ? If so, can you prove you did create it ?

Is it a third party content ? If so, have you a signed document proving you own the rights ?

.

stream my demo recordings

How did you get those recordings ? Have you a proof that you are authorized to sell them ? That could be the issue.

These are all my original recordings. I made them mostly at my house. Some of them I made in a recording studio but I paid for their production myself, without a record company. I'm not under contract with any record company.

I'm not sure how I can prove that I own the rights.

"Apps should not ... include the ability to save, convert, or download media from third-party sources (e.g. Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, etc.) without explicit authorization from those sources."

Maybe I need to get explicit authorization from dropbox?

I have the same problem. I use Firebase to host my ringtones and I got "Apps should not ... include the ability to save, convert, or download media from third-party sources (e.g. Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, etc.) without explicit authorization from those sources."

The sounds are all beep, boop, computer generated sounds that are mine, but still public domain I guess because most don't even have 3 tone/notes to them to be considered music. I have no way to disprove a negative if they assume I didn't make them.

Do I need some document from Firebase, or if they assume they aren't my own audio files is that just the end, as they don't accept me giving myself permission?
