Apple Developer Account not activated 5 days after purchase

Hey everyone, I purchased an Apple Developer Program for 99 USD on January 1 2024, filled out my credit card that I use for iCloud+ storage plan, got my confirmation email that within 48h my developer account should be activated, but it never did. Plus after waiting more than 48h I wrote to support, describing everything, but never heard back from them.

One thing I noticed during the checkout was I was asked for everything (name, address, CC number, expiry date) but not the CVV number. Is this normal, and would Apple be able to process the payment without it?

I though about going through the enrolment process again, but am afraid of a double charge, in case my original enrolment gets accepted... Please advise and share your experiences when enrolling to the developer program. Thanks!

i made am also facing same problem , i paid amount about 15 days ago but still yet my account did not activated

I've been reading a lot about people encountering this. I'm in Cali and it took about ~12 hours for it to enroll me. I was definitely scared at the beginning when it just took my money.

I want to add my voice here, because I’m experiencing exactly the same issue as many others in this thread.

I paid the $99 Apple Developer Program fee. The payment was successfully charged. However, my developer account has still not been activated.

It has been more than several business days — in my case, almost a week — and there is:

• no activation

• no clear status

• no way to check what is happening

• no response to emails

The money was taken immediately, but the service that was paid for has not been provided.

Hi all, I'm on the 45th hours mark, and i confirm the payment has went through after checking with the bank. Is this a common thing that it usually takes more than the estimated 48 hours ?

I’ve honestly never received service this bad from a company and I’m going to say it again because it’s true: I have never, ever gotten such terrible service from any company.

I’ve been trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program and it’s been stuck for 4 months.

Every time I try, the Apple Developer app fails with an identity verification problem. So I contact support, and they tell me they’ll send an email. The email says to use the Apple Developer app to enroll. I reply and explain that I already did and it doesn’t work because the identity verification keeps failing. Then they reply again with the exact same thing: “use the Apple Developer app.” And I’m back to the same failure. Over and over.

This is the worst support experience I’ve ever had. I’ve never received service this bad from a company. It feels like nobody is actually reading what I’m writing or looking at the real issue — just copy-pasting the same answer.

I don’t need the same instructions again. I need someone to actually troubleshoot or escalate this properly: what exactly is failing on your side, can my enrollment/verification state be reset, and is there any alternative way to complete enrollment if the app verification keeps failing?
