iOS App Stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 48+ Days - Need Help

Hi everyone,

I submitted my first iOS app to App Store Connect on June 8, 2025. As of today (July 26), it's been 48 days and the status is still "Waiting for Review."

Details:

  • First app submission
  • Version 1.0
  • App category: Finance/Utilities (cryptocurrency portfolio tracker)
  • Already submitted an expedited review request
  • All required fields completed
  • Age rating: 4+
  • No encryption documentation required (uses only standard HTTPS)

This seems unusually long compared to the typical 1-7 day review times. I've already:

  1. Contacted App Review via email (no response)
  2. Submitted an expedited review request
  3. Verified all submission requirements are complete

Has anyone experienced similar delays recently? Any suggestions on how to get this resolved?

You should contact support. They should find out what is blocking (may be some information missing ?).

Did you receive an email stating that app was Ready for review ?

I’m in the same boat. It seems like this happens a lot. It could be due to the time of year and more Apple employees being on vacation. Or, they are short staffed in general.

My app has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” status for over 10 days now, and despite submitting expedited review requests, I haven’t received any response or update. It feels like no one is even looking at it.

This delay is seriously affecting my release schedule and user expectations. I understand that expedited reviews are not guaranteed, but receiving no reply at all is very disappointing, especially when time-sensitive updates are involved.

Please look into my case and let me know what’s going on.
