We have an app that appears to be stuck in waiting for review status. Another app we submitted later already got reviewed, leading us to believe this app is somehow stuck or got lost in the process.

Me too. My app has been in review since August 12. I have corresponded with an Apple employee who apparently while being my contact, has no knowledge or ability to help.
