Hello guys, is there any delay in February for app reviews?

What's the normal that you are referring to? I submitted 20 new software titles to the review last year. The average wait time was probably one and a half days or two to three at most. I had two new software titles that I submitted at the end of the year. I ended up waiting 4 or 5 days for a desktop application and another 2 or 3 days for its iOS counterpart.

An average wait time was 17 to 19 days 15 years ago. So whatever the average time is now, I won't be terribly concerned.

I'm experiencing something similar. My update has been waiting for review for a few days which is unusual in my experience. Usually it's less than 48 hours from submission to ready for distribution.

Sharing my situation as well.

I submitted a new app on January 25, and it has remained in “Waiting for Review” since then. I contacted App Review Support on January 30, but I haven’t heard back yet, so I sent a follow-up today.

I also submitted an app update on February 2, and that submission is still in “Waiting for Review” as well. I haven’t contacted support regarding the update submission.

This situation tracks.

My app submission has been in "Waiting for Review" since January 27. I contacted App Review Support after 5 days, but never heard back. Additionally, I went a step further and scheduled an App Review appointment with the team, but they declined the request with no explanation.

I’m in a similar situation. I submitted my new app on January 23, 2026 and waited for over eight days. Just in case, I canceled the review request on the morning of February 1 and resubmitted it with no changes, but it’s still in “Waiting for Review” (which feels like a bad decision in hindsight 😂). I’ve never had to wait this long for a review before, so I think the review process is heavily backed up right now.

Me personally, the average wait time is around 48 hours. I don’t exactly know how Apple Review is sequenced, as some Apps I submitted later turns out to be reviewed before earlier one. If review time is within 2 or 3 days I’d consider it as normal.
