Apple Developer Program payment completed but membership not activated

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some guidance to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue with the Apple Developer Program membership.

About one week ago, I completed the payment for the membership. I received an email with the subject:

We’re processing your order Wxxxxxxxxxx

That email included the order details and cost, and shortly after that, I also received the CFDI invoice for the payment, so the charge appears to have been completed successfully.

However, up to now:

  • I have not received any membership confirmation email
  • The membership does not appear under Subscriptions in my Apple ID
  • It is not active in the Apple Developer app
  • On the Apple Developer website, I still see the usual message as if the membership was not purchased: “Purchase your membership to continue your enrollment. Buy today”

I understand Apple mentions that the purchase may take up to 48 hours to process, but it has now been more than a week with no changes.

Has anyone else encountered this situation? Is it normal to receive the invoice but not have the membership activated? Would you recommend contacting Apple Developer Support at this point?

Thanks in advance for any help or shared experiences.

I’m experiencing the same issue.

I initially submitted a request about two weeks ago but haven’t received any response. I completed the Apple Developer Program payment, received the “We’re processing your order” email and the invoice, but the membership is still not active anywhere (Apple ID subscriptions, Developer app, or the Developer website).

After waiting several days with no update, I made another payment just to be safe and later confirmed that I was charged twice. Even with that, the enrollment status hasn’t changed.

At this point, I’ve contacted Apple Developer Support and am waiting for an update on both the enrollment status and a refund for the duplicate payment. If you haven’t reached out to support yet, I’d recommend doing so — this doesn’t seem to resolve itself automatically once it’s past the 48-hour window.

Would be curious to hear if anyone has seen this eventually resolve without support intervention.

Yes, I have encountered this situation as well.

The payment was taken immediately.

The Apple Developer website still said "Purchase your membership..." as if it was not purchased.

It took Apple a week to get back to me. They are still processing my application now. Hopefully things will progress soon.

Having exactly the same issue. Put in a ticket yesterday, haven't heard jack.

Same thing. Payment was taken 7 days ago. Opened ticket. NO response...

Same here. Very annoying. They sure processed the payment quickly, though.

Similiar situation over here, payment was taken last week, account was "pending" until monday when I decided to have another look. Everything seems to look fine on my devices themselves (apart of lack of certs) after I logged in to the web version of a developer account it asked me for yet another payment (despite money left my account a few days prior - have confirmation mails and receipts), turns out that for some reason the web version was creating another account (different team ID etc) with my details after what I had to withdraw two separate enrollments twice (again, received emails about withdrawn enrollment). Turns out that in the middle of all of that it also removed my first and main developer account, now I'm being stuck for almost a week without money, without account and a support ticket "hanging somewhere over there" for two days already. :/

I paid once on 28 Jan Paid again 5 Feb.

I am getting responses from eurodev.apple.com But being given pointless advice.

Now I'm asking for refunds...

Play store was a breeze... and $25 life time access

After all the frustration, I resigned myself to the fact that apple doesn’t need me.

So I just sent a bunch of mails : “refund me”

a few hours later, I get a mail saying “ We processed the credit that you requested as an exception to our policy. “

Wow, this just makes me feel super special.

So let’s get this straight.. Are they saying that their policy is no refunds to a customer who paid. but does not get service.

That even when the application or enrollment process lacks transparency or logic, or simply does not work as they intended, don’t expect a refund of your $99 or even the second 99 that you paid for that Service

Crazy
