App Stuck in Waiting for Review for Nearly a Week — Multiple Support Requests Unanswered

Hello,

My app Jewel Coloring Go! (App ID: 6785241915) appears to be stuck in the App Review process, and I would like to check whether there may be an issue with this submission.

The current version was originally planned for release on July 31, 2026. However, today is Auguse 9, 2026, and the app is still in "Waiting for Review."

Current status:

Waiting for Review No messages in Resolution Center No requests for additional information We have also submitted multiple Support inquiries but have not received any response so far.

This version is particularly important to our team, as it is tied to a planned release schedule and user acquisition activities that had already been prepared in advance. Given the unusually long delay, we are unsure whether the submission is proceeding normally or if there may be an issue requiring attention.

If an Apple staff member could help check the status of this submission, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Pretty much same timeline for me. 7/30 submitted for review, still waiting. And getting the sense that there are a lot of developers in the same boat.

But Apple isn't commenting on this exceptional delay despite it being pretty much obvious to everyone else involved. Would be nice to get some clarity on what to expect moving forward.

@sakamoto_real I searched on the appStore and found there is another app called jewel coloring (without go!).

Is it the first submission of the app ?

If so, maybe this is causing a problem ?

I got the same problem here:

  1. July 31: first submission.
  2. August 10: after waiting for so long, I assumed there was a problem with the review queue -> cancel and resubmit. I attempted to submit an expedited request, but there was an issue with Apple service.
  3. August 13: request a call with the Support Team. There was a guy named Tony who answered. Unfortunately, even Apple's staff is unable to access their internal system, as he told me that, and "he don't know why"?
  4. August 14: request a call again. Apple staff - Andy took up the phone and said he could not do anything about this situation and said... I just have to wait.

From my perspective, this could be due to the August 8 maintenance, and I'm not sure what the next step is other than to wait.

me2, same over a week in waiting for review status

Mines been over a week now with no responses to email tickets provided, if the queue is long all i and my team need is just communication!

Have you received an update yet?

Same for me too, waiting for more than 1 week.

Same for us too, waiting for review for more than 2 weeks. Expedite app review didn't work, wrote a detailed email regarding submission timeline, no response.

August 4th submission date, and still waiting. Just holding tight and hoping the review comes soon. I wonder if they are backed up from an influx of AI vibe coded apps being submitted now?

Same here — with one data point that may be useful: my submission is after the 8 August maintenance that has been mentioned in this thread.

  • First submission of a new app, version 1.0.0
  • Submitted 12 August 2026, 14:04 UTC
  • Still "Waiting for Review" six days later. It has never once moved to "In Review"
  • Nothing has been modified on the submission since it was created
  • Contacted Developer Support on 17 August (App Review > App Review Status). No reply so far

Most of the reports above are submissions from 30 July to 4 August, so from before that maintenance. Mine is four days after it and is stuck in exactly the same way, which suggests whatever is happening is not limited to submissions that predate 8 August.

I will report back here if the status changes.

I'm having the exact same issue. Is it possible that Apple has basically abandoned almost all individual developers? 🤬

Same issue here — our IAPs (issue-based digital magazine purchases, two separate apps) have been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for over a MONTH. We can't sell our current products at all. Multiple emails and expedited review requests sent, no real response, just "we're investigating."

If anyone from App Review sees this, please look into our pending submissions. Happy to share product IDs privately. This clearly isn't an isolated case.

Dear developers. Please do not create spam with consecutive tickets! This makes it difficult for the Apple team and dear reviewers. If for any reason the waiting time increases, you can follow up with one ticket and with the same number. This is the right thing to do, not creating tickets with different numbers, this will increase the waiting time of all developers!
