Waiting For Review - Longer than usual?

I submitted my first public build (iOS 1.0) on July 30th for my game, Golfer's Pair-A-Dice (Apple ID: 6789222313) and it has been in "Waiting for Review" with no movement since then. I read that 24-48 hours is typical, but could take longer for first builds, but it seems like it hasn't even begun to be reviewed which is frustrating.

Has anyone experienced similar wait times in the queue and had any success getting their app reviewed? I was hoping to launch on App Store and Google Play Store at same time and Google approved the app in 2 days so it has just been waiting for me to push, which I am waiting on Apple to approve so I can push both simultaneously.

Spent nearly 4 hours today on hold across two calls trying to connect (after first was disconnected for some reason). I saw someone suggest booking a 1-on-1 session on the weekly reviews, but earliest available timeslot was Thursday August 20th, that will be 3 weeks after submission. I just want to know that I am at least in the queue to be reviewed so I can set a release date.

Its been over 2 days since I submitted the requested screen recording proving that my App Tracking Transparency prompt was working and still have not heard anything from the simple review. I am wondering if for some reason I moved back in the queue even though the code base didn't change? If so that is really crappy that I will have to wait another 10 days for that simple review. Google approved this exact app in under 2 days and only costs $25 one time vs Apple's $99/year, why is it so much slower and inefficient?

Reviewer still rejected original build even after screen recording of the prompt. I had to build guardrails around the ATT to ensure that reviewer would see the prompt (even though every test I ran I saw the prompt). This required a new build of the code and ultimately required a new submission for review. That was on Sunday morning August 16th. It has now been over 28 hours since that submission and still nothing from the reviewer.

I’m experiencing the same issue. My app has remained in “Waiting for Review” much longer than expected. I have submitted multiple requests through App Store Connect Support and also called Apple Support. After waiting 3 hours and 4 minutes to speak with an adviser, I was told to contact the “correct channel,” even though I initiated the call directly through the contact option on the App Review Status page. The adviser explained that only the Developer/App Review team could check the status, but I still have not received a meaningful response.

This is my first public App Store release. Has anyone recently received a response from Apple or had their app move into review?
