I'm hoping someone from Apple or another developer can help or share some advice.
My app update has now been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 13 days.
This is not a new app submission. It's an update that contains a fix for a critical bug currently affecting users in production. The fix has been ready for almost two weeks, but I simply can't get it to users because the update hasn't entered review.
I've already submitted an Expedited Review Request, specifically explaining that there is a production issue affecting existing users.
I've also tried contacting Apple through the available support channels, but so far I haven't been able to get any meaningful response or indication of when the review might begin.
At this point, the situation is becoming increasingly difficult. Users are experiencing a bug that has already been fixed, I'm losing users and revenue because of it, and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do from my side.
I completely understand that App Review can get busy, and I'm not asking to bypass the review process. I just need the update to actually enter the review process.
Has anyone else recently experienced an update remaining in "Waiting for Review" for this long?
Is there another escalation path I should try?
And if someone from Apple happens to see this, I would really appreciate it if someone could look into the submission or point me in the right direction.
