A few months back, when we submitted our app for review, we informed them in the notes that we wish to distribute publicly. However at the time the public could not create an account, only login to accounts created by admins.
We said what our plans were, but they were having none of it. They said the only way for the app to be approved is to have unlisted distribution.
Due to time constraints, we had no other viable option than to go ahead with their recommendations.
Now we have updated the app to support account creation from the public. However, there is no option for changing an unlisted to listed distribution.
We summited a new build, added in the notes for it to be changed from unlisted to listed, but the reviewer did not acknowledge or read the notes!!!
I have emailed customer services who take a really long time to reply.
Now I'm at a cross roads. I do not wish to upload and create a new app to the store, when we have a working one that is already approved. It is not my fault that Apple reviewer did not read the notes.
In the UK there is no phone number for their team. I would happily pay for support like you do for the Apple store.
