Hi,
My app update has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for quite a while now, and it seems to be taking much longer than my previous submissions.
I haven’t received any messages or requests for additional information, so I was wondering if someone from Apple would be able to take a look at the submission and see if there’s anything holding it up or if it can be reviewed soon.
I understand review times can vary, but I’d really appreciate any help.

Same here. Two iOS submissions have been in Waiting for Review since 3 September — seven days now — with no messages and nothing flagged.
For what it's worth, there are threads from February with the same pattern: waits of 8 to 20 days, all stuck in Waiting for Review rather than In Review. One developer there reported a submission from 9 February moving to In Review after 15 calendar days, then getting feedback 6 minutes later — so the delay seems to be entirely queue time, and the review itself is quick once it starts.
Yes, mine waited for more than a month and was rejected for the fourth time!
My application is truly different.
Moreover, the app is truly unique. There is nothing else like it on the market.
I called and spoke to them but they just kept repeating the same things like parrots.
I asked them to show me a similar app but they couldn't. despite this, they still reject.

Update, in case it helps anyone here.
I raised this through Developer Contact (App Review → App Review Status). It issues a Case ID and acknowledged by email the same day, and a named person from Developer Support replied the next day - which is more than the forums or Resolution Center produced for me. Worth knowing that form exists; it's a different one from the App Review contact page, which has no status option.
They expedited one of my two submissions as a one-time exception. It moved to In Review and was approved shortly after - so again, the wait was queue time, not review time. The second is still queued and I'm sorting that out with them.
One detail from their reply that I hadn't seen documented: if an expedited app is rejected, you don't need to request expediting again - a resubmitted binary or metadata returns to the expedite queue automatically.

Same here! I’ve already opened the cases, and now I’m thinking of opening another case just to check on the existing ones. :)
It’s generally very slow, but I guess that’s to be expected with all the changes coming from the new phone designs.
