I've been trying to understand why data from the Appstore Connect API is highly inflated when compared to the same data and same period/filters from the Appstore UI. Has anyone any idea why I am experiencing such inconsistencies?

If you are using Detailed Analytics reports, try the standard reports instead, it matched most of the metrics for me.
