Is Anyone Else Experiencing This?

I'm curious to know whether other developers are experiencing unusually long App Review delays.

My app, TalkCity (version 1.0.3, build 23648159), has been in the review process since October 1. Today is October 13, and 12 days later, all five submitted items remain under review, with no final decision or explanation.

Frankly, I find this situation frustrating

As an independent developer, I've invested significant time, money, and effort into building this application. Having an entire launch held hostage by an unpredictable review process, with absolutely no transparency, is incredibly frustrating.

I fully understand that Apple needs to review applications carefully. But how can developers reasonably plan launches, marketing campaigns, or business operations when reviews can drag on for nearly two weeks without any meaningful communication?

We are expected to follow Apple's guidelines to the letter, yet there seems to be very little accountability when it comes to review timelines.

I'd genuinely like to hear from other developers:

  • Are you also experiencing unusually long review times recently?
  • Has anyone had an app stuck in review for this long?
  • Did you eventually receive an explanation, or did the review simply move forward without one?
  • Is there anything that actually helped resolve the delay?

I believe this deserves a broader discussion. Independent developers shouldn't have to operate in complete uncertainty while their businesses are on hold.

In review since September 25th (19 days). It's extremely frustrating.

This is my first app on my new account. I did get two rejections for fixable issues, but that all happened in less than a week which I thought was great progress. My most recent submission went in on September 22nd, it then went into review on September 25th, and again, I thought that was great. I hadn't even requested an expedited review at that point. But then a week turned into two and now nearly three. Support had the same generic response as kevin916. I requested an expedited review on day 16 and still nothing. I don't know what else I can do.

I've been doing this for 13 years. I've submitted apps before for companies and when I worked with a friend, both new and updates, and I've never seen it this bad.

Same here since Sep 29. Still In Review, no decision. Support only replied with a generic “still in review, no action needed.”

I have the same problem with our marketplace floresparati. Waiting for review since Oct 8th. I wrote them but nothing. I have official launch on octobre 23rd with people and money commited.... Apple says takes around 48 hs. I do understand some delays,but 300% deviation is too much.

Dont know what else to do.

Update: it has actually been 48 days

Sep 1: submitted Sep 7: resubmitted Sep 25: resubmitted Oct 1: resubmitted

Today, Oct 19: 18 days In Review and 48 days since the first submission, with no response.

I guess we are all on the same bus here, I can only imagine how many more developers globally are experiencing such a dramatic delay in app review / release - Feels like this same time last month, getting your app through review times stayed true to the 24-48hr timeline

Update: My app was finally approved today (Oct 21). It entered “In Review” on September 29, so it took about 22 days. Support only sent generic replies, and I didn’t withdraw or resubmit. Hope everyone here gets a decision soon too.

I've been waiting for submission since 14th October '26. My App went live on the Google Play Store on the 12th Oct... It's a slow-burning approval process.
