I'm trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program as an individual using my personal Apple Account in India, but I'm unable to proceed because my account is being marked as ineligible.
The error messages I'm receiving:
In the Apple Developer app on macOS: “Your Apple Account isn't eligible. This app doesn't currently support this type of Apple Account.”
On the Apple Developer website: “Your Apple ID is not eligible to use this application at this time.”
What I've tried so far:
Verified my Apple Account details, including my personal information.
Confirmed that two-factor authentication is enabled.
Confirmed that I'm signed into iCloud on my Mac with the same Apple Account.
Tried signing in using both my phone number and the Gmail address associated with my Apple Account.
Retried enrollment, but the same eligibility error persists.
I'm based in India and am trying to enroll as an individual, not as an organization. This is my personal Apple Account, and I haven't been able to reach the enrollment stage.
Has anyone encountered this issue and found a solution? Could this be an account eligibility restriction, or is there another requirement I'm missing?
I'd appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this or reach the appropriate Apple Developer Program enrollment support team.
