**Stuck in "Waiting for Review" since October 8 — no response from App Review**

Hello Apple App Review Team,

I'm reaching out regarding my application, which has remained in "Waiting for Review" since October 8, 2026.

My previous submissions were typically reviewed within 2–3 days, but this submission has now been waiting for over 9 days without progressing to "In Review."

I've submitted expedited review requests and attempted to contact App Review, but have received no response or explanation regarding the delay.

I completely understand that review times can vary. However, as an independent developer working to launch my business, this extended delay without communication is concerning.

Could someone from the App Review team please confirm whether my submission is progressing normally, or whether there is an issue that requires attention?

Any assistance or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Same. We submitted on October 8, and our app is still "Waiting for Review". We're also hoping to have our app launched for an upcoming national convention, so we're quite concerned about the app review time.

Mine was submitted October 2nd and Today is October 17th. 15 Days. Still in "Waiting for Review"

Stuck since October 7, waiting for review. We are also now in a time-sensitive crunch we never envisioned since starting this app review process on September 29, resubmitting after an initial rejection on October 9. Even an expedite request has made no difference.

I submitted my app under Apple ID 1043931945|1 on September 17th — it is now October 18th !!!

First was a 2.1 rejection for more detail required, which I understand is almost a mandatory reply for a new developer. That was followed by a request to see the paywall after free trial expired. This was followed by a request to add a link to the EULA policy to the paywall. My latest rejection, #4 on October 13th, is for a screen the reviewer said they could not move beyond, when there is a clear text that states "tap here when done", so I sent a video walking through every page of the app and showing its full and 100% functionality. No reply from help desk, no reply from thread in app review, no reply from review appeal and no reply from expedite!

Prepare to be stuck for a while!

Hoping they get to reviewing it before your event. I understand things can take time, it’s just concerning when they say it takes 48 hours to review 90% of applicants. I just wish there was more communication about the whole process. Doesn’t seem like anything we can do.

Ours has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” since October 8, with absolutely no updates. I’ve spoken with multiple representatives, opened several tickets, sent countless emails, and still haven’t received a single response. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Honestly, this shows capitalism at its peak. A company with a $5 trillion market cap, yet the developers who help build and sustain its ecosystem are left completely in the dark. Developer phone support has been discontinued, emails go unanswered, and even expedite requests are being ignored.

Developers are an essential part of the ecosystem, not an afterthought. The least they deserve is transparency, timely communication, and a support system that actually works. It’s disappointing to see a company of this scale show so little accountability toward the developers who invest their time and effort into its platform.

18 days...

At this point I am just deflated. I will be happy if Apple reviews it otherwise I will just focuson my Android users. It is already approved there.

Same here - unusually long waiting time lasting 4 days already, while our Android OS updates was live within 24 hours.

No way to contact anyone either.

Mine got reviewed (and rejected) on Day 20 after submistion. I fixed the issue and resubmitted on Oct 21st, 2026. Thanks Apple review team!

I will be a little upset if my app doesn't get deployed before Thanksgiving because then I paid for a Developer account for nothing because my app is useless after December so that will be very upsetting because I am sure there is no way to get a refund.

ditto --> "Waiting for Review"

Adding my app to the list: The ios version of my app is in the "waiting for review" status for 14 days now. The mac version took only 5 days and is already live. Other apps and updates were usually reviewed in max 3 days…
I guess there are a lot of updates due to the iphone duo release…

I'm a new Apple Developer having a similar experience.

I first submitted my app on September 28. It was rejected 48 hours later, on September 30, because Apple needed additional information, which I provided. After waiting weeks, I read that updating the version and resubmitting might help, but unfortunately, it didn't.

I last submitted my 2 apps on October 12 and October 15, making sure to provide all the necessary information based on my previous experience. Both are now stuck in review. I requested an expedited review about 48 hours ago and contacted support, but I've received no response.

We pay an annual developer membership fee, yet almost a month has passed without getting a single app published or receiving any meaningful communication.

Meanwhile, my backend infrastructure is running, costing me money, and I've already lost an important client because of these delays.

For those who've experienced similar delays, how long did you actually wait? Considering, my very first submission was on September 30, and my other app submission was initially on October 12, and none are getting communication, I'm assuming the wait time is 2-3 months? At which point, we would have lost about a quarter of the developer fee?

At this point, nothing I've tried has helped. Does anyone have suggestions who had been waiting for weeks? Is there anything else we can realistically do besides waiting indefinitely?

Im having the same issue. I have created my very first app and kept it simple no API calls, no ads, no copyright.

My app has been in review since 10/13 (10 days as of this post). I have submitted and email to Apple 3 business days ago but have not gotten a response.

Being that this is my first app, I fully expected some delays but it looks like its happening to other developers as well. I hope its not some kind of bug with the submission of the apps..

Same here, what's going on?

Adding my app to the list.

I first submitted it on September 27. It was initially rejected because the privacy policy link was missing from the app description. I fixed that immediately and resubmitted.

A few days later, I received another rejection saying the app had crashed. I checked the crash log, but there was no clear indication of what caused it. The only thing I noticed was that the reviewer was testing on iPadOS 27, which was still in beta at the time and wasn't available on my end.

I replied to the review team for clarification and resubmitted. The next rejection was because the reviewer couldn't get past the onboarding screen, even though the instructions on how to complete it were displayed on the screen. Other reviewers had managed to get through it without any issues.

I replied again, made sure the instructions were clear, and resubmitted.

Now, after addressing each issue raised by the review team, my app has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for almost a month. I've also requested an expedited review, but I'm still waiting.

It's frustrating when you're actively responding to feedback and fixing issues, only to end up waiting this long without any meaningful update.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue with my app. I submitted the first version on October 7, 2026, and it is still stuck in "Waiting for Review" with no updates or response from Apple.

It's really frustrating, especially since we're finally ready to launch and have already invested a lot of time, effort, and resources into marketing and preparing for the release. Not knowing when the app will be reviewed makes it incredibly difficult to plan our launch and move forward.

Same issue here. Submitted October 13th and still waiting. Now waiting for review for over 10 days.

Same issue. Been waiting for review since Oct 09 2026. Hoping to get this crossed and deployed soon. I have the next version ready to go already as well. Wondering If I am better off moving my app to Android at this point.
