Almost 20 Days Waiting for App Review — None of My iOS Apps Have Been Reviewed

Hello Apple Developer Community,

I’m posting here to ask whether other developers are experiencing unusually long delays with App Review.

It has been almost 20 days, and not a single one of my iOS apps has been reviewed yet. I understand that review times can vary depending on the app and other factors, but waiting this long without any of my apps being reviewed is becoming concerning.

As an indie developer, these delays affect my launch plans, development schedule, and ability to deliver updates to users. I’ve been waiting patiently, but I would appreciate some clarity on whether there are currently any review backlogs or issues that could explain the delay.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation recently? If so, how long did your apps take to enter or complete the review process?

I would also appreciate any guidance on the appropriate way to follow up with Apple regarding pending submissions.

Thank you for your time. I hope to hear from other developers who may be facing the same issue.

Same here. My app has been In Review since September 29 (21 days now), still no decision. Support only sent a generic “still in review, no action needed” reply.

If anyone gets an update, please share — I’ll do the same.

I don’t know what’s going on with Apple Development review, it’s getting really frustrating now. same thing for me. My App has not gotten accepted up till now.

it doesn’t even change from waiting for review to In-review.

There’s no way to reach out to Apple except through mails which takes days to get replied to.

I am also 20 days and counting. No reply to my message from a week ago. I am quite new to working with Apple. Is this normal?

We are in the same boat. We submitted our app on the 8th and have yet to receive any updates. I’ve been following up with the support team almost daily on the phone, but their visibility into the review process is limited, so they haven’t been able to provide any meaningful updates. Unfortunately, the review team, which is the only team that can provide further clarification, has remained silent.

I’ve also sent multiple emails requesting an expedited review. Last Friday, the support team confirmed that the request had been accepted, but since then, there have been no further updates or signs of progress.

I initially expressed my frustration in my post, but after giving it some thought, I realized that a more constructive approach would be more productive. We’re all facing the same uncertainty, and I believe sharing our experiences and supporting one another is more helpful than dwelling on our frustration.

I understand how frustrating this situation can be, especially when there’s no clear timeline or communication. However, repeatedly expressing our frustration is unlikely to speed up the process. At this stage, we’ve done what we can, and the next step is up to Apple‘s developers reviewing team.

Hopefully, they will provide an update soon and move things forward. In the meantime, let’s remain patient, keep each other informed, and hope for some positive news for everyone waiting. Wishing us all a successful review and approval soon Amen!

I put my app into review in 7th of October. It is 20th of October (13 days) and I keep waiting. It would be good to get some explanation about why review process takes much time than expected.

My new app has been in review since September 25th which is 25 days. I requested an expedited review on day 16 which was granted, and I requested an escalation in my support case on day 18 which was also granted 3 days later.

I'm just speechless at this whole process. I've never seen it as bad in all the years I've been doing this.

Update: My app was finally approved today (Oct 21). It entered “In Review” on September 29, so it took about 22 days. Support only sent generic replies, and I didn’t withdraw or resubmit. Hope everyone here gets a decision soon too.
