Are Kosovo banks supported for App Store payouts? Alternatives for developers in Kosovo?

Hi everyone,

I'm an individual developer based in Kosovo and I'm setting up the Paid Apps
Agreement in App Store Connect. Kosovo appears in the Bank Country list
(currency EUR, IBAN starting with XK), but Apple's bank lookup can't find my
bank (TEB Sh.A., SWIFT TEBKXKPR) by SWIFT code or by the bank code from the IBAN.

My questions:

  1. Are Kosovo banks actually supported for App Store payouts? Has anyone in
Kosovo received payments from Apple successfully? If so, which bank
(Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo, ProCredit Bank, NLB Banka, BKT...) and which
    Bank/Branch Number did Apple accept?

  2. If Kosovo banks don't work, what are the alternatives?

    • Does a bank account in a neighbouring country (Albania, North Macedonia)
      work with Apple?
    • Do online accounts such as Wise or Revolut with a European IBAN work
      for Apple payouts?

I've already opened a case with Apple Finance and I'm waiting for their reply,
but any first-hand experience would help a lot.

Thank you!

Hi! I'm experiencing exactly the same issue with TEB Sh.A. in Kosovo, especially with the Bank/Branch Number field in App Store Connect. I've contacted Apple Support as well, but I'm still waiting for their response and haven't received any updates yet.

If you've found any alternative that works, such as another bank or an online account like Wise or Revolut, could you please let me know? I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you, and I hope we can find a solution!

Apple's banking guidance says to select the country or region of the bank branch, enter the bank's own details (not an intermediary bank), and make sure the account holder matches the individual or legal entity enrolled in the Developer Program. If the bank isn't listed, Apple says it may be unable to send payments to that bank.

I'd wait for Apple Finance to confirm whether TEB or another Kosovo bank is supported before trying a bank in a neighboring country or an online account. The account, territory, tax details, and your developer enrollment need to line up, so I wouldn't assume Wise or Revolut will work just because they provide an IBAN. You could ask Apple Finance specifically whether Kosovo is supported for payouts and what bank code format they expect for your IBAN.
