How long should I wait for an App Review Board appeal response before following up? And where?

Hi everyone,

I submitted an appeal to the App Review Board on October 6, 2026, regarding a rejection.

It's now been 16 days, and I haven't received a response yet.

I understand that the appeal process can take some time, and I'm not necessarily looking to speed things up. I'm just wondering what the typical waiting time is based on other developers' experiences.

For those who have gone through the App Review Board appeal process:

How long did it take for you to receive a response?

After how many days without a response would you recommend following up?

If a follow-up is necessary, what's the most appropriate contact channel? Apple Developer Support, App Review Contact, or somewhere else?

I'd appreciate any advice or experiences you could share.

Thanks in advance!

Apple’s current App Review guidance doesn’t publish a typical turnaround time for App Review Board appeals. It says the Board will send a message in App Store Connect when its investigation is complete, and may contact you there if it needs more information. Sixteen days without a reply doesn’t tell you whether the appeal is still under review.

If you want a status check, Apple specifically says not to use the appeal itself to request one. Use the appropriate Contact Us form and include the app name, appeal date, and existing case or appeal reference. I’d avoid filing a second appeal for the same rejection.
