I published my app clip last year in the App Store. I can successfully open my app clip in iMessage or via link URL. but scanning the QR code of the very same URL leads to the "app clip is unavailable" error, in this case, I can see my application name and banner correctly. Any Idea why?

I recently submitted an Advanced App Clip Experience, and the status currently shows as "Received." My default App Clip Experience is already working well, but I need the advanced experience to go live as soon as possible. Does anyone know the typical timeframe for this to be published? Also, will the status change from "Received" to something else when it is fully active? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

We are using VZVirtualMachine instances in a Swift actor. It works fine but we hit a major problem when we decided that we want to attach it to a VZVirtualMachineView to show it / allow user interactions. VZVirtualMachineView and its virtualMachine property is isolated to @MainActor, so if we directly assign our vm instance to it, we receive a concurrency error: @MainActor public func createView() -> VZVirtualMachineView { let view = VZVirtualMachineView() view.virtualMachine = vm // x: Actor-isolated property 'vm' can not be referenced from the main actor return view } Is there any way we can make this work?

I am trying to port my sandboxed macOS app completely over to iOS using a Catalyst target and SwiftUI. There appears to be an issue when trying to drag to the Finder in Catalyst (and in SwiftUI in General). For some reason, the Finder will not accept multiple file drops, only a single file. On my macOS (non-Catalyst AppKit target), I overcame this by dropping multiple files to a UTType of .folder, and the OS accepted the folder. This workaround is not available for iOS because .folder is a macOS-only option. I have a test app to illustrate the issue. Hopefully someone can help. Download Test App

We are in the process of updating our legacy Spotlight MDImporter to the new macOS Spotlight App Extension. The transition works well for standard attributes such as title, textContent, and keywords. However, we encounter an issue when adding custom attributes to the CSSearchableItemAttributeSet. These custom attributes are not being persisted, which means they cannot be queried using a Spotlight NSMetadataQuery. Is it possible to develop for TelephonyMessagingKit on iOS 26 outside of the EU? If so, how is this accomplished? I have added the 'Default Carrier Messaging App' entitlement to my project, but I do not see an option to set my app as a default option in settings on my device. I am not located inside of the EU, but would like to test this functionality.

Hi, I am developing a Screen Time App and I am having issues with the ShieldConfigurationExtension (ShieldConfigurationDataSource). I know this extensions is sandboxed but I should be able to read data from the main app. I am using SwiftData as my database, but I am unable to initialize it in the extensions with an error indicating insufficient file permissions. I have App Group set up and I am able to share data using UserDefaults but that is just inconvenient. However, for other clients, the token is working fine and everything functions as expected. I’m collaborating with the back-end developers to gather more information about this issue, but the only log message we’re seeing is: Failed to send a push, APNS reported an error: BadDeviceToken I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide some insight or information on how to resolve this issue.

I'm new to the Screen Time API and trying to block custom websites, but I can't get WebDomain tokens to work. When I create a WebDomain like WebDomain(domain: "reddit.com"), the token property is always nil. I have proper authorization and the app works fine for blocking apps, but website blocking just won't work. I'm confused because I see apps like JOMO that let users type in any website domain and successfully block it using Screen Time API. They have the same 49 domain limit and only ask for Screen Time permission, so they must be using the same API I am. But somehow their WebDomain tokens work and mine don't. I've tried creating the tokens right after getting authorization and during the FamilyActivityPicker session, but still get nil. Am I missing some setup step or API call that makes WebDomain tokens valid? Any help would be really appreciated since I'm stuck on this.

Share Age Range Permission is set to 'Ask First'. Application requested for AgeRange via requestAgeRange API. System presented a consent window where user has to make a choice. User did not acted. Application was pushed to background. Our Application supports PushToTalk Framework and we have successfully joined the channel already. User tapped on the blue-pill , SystemUI will get presented. User tapped on the SystemUI, A New Full Screen SystemUI will get presented. User chosen 'Leave' option and our application left the active channel. 10 User brought the application to foreground and the previous "Share Age Range" system window disappeared. 11. After Step 10, We need to terminate and launch our application in order to get the "Share Age Range" system window. Is "Share Age Range" system window getting disappear is expected here or a BUG

Hello, I’m running into an issue with the Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement not being included in my App Store Connect provisioning profiles. Here’s the situation: •Both my main app and its Screen Time extension have been approved for Family Controls (Distribution) In Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles → Identifiers, I can clearly see that the capability Family Controls (Distribution) is enabled for both App IDs. However, when I generate a new provisioning profile (either manually or via Xcode), the resulting .mobileprovision file’s Entitlements section does not include the Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement. As a result, building for distribution or archiving fails to recognize that entitlement, even though everything looks correct in the Developer Portal. But the missing entitlement persists. How can I successfully generate a distribution provisioning profile that includes Family Controls (Distribution)? Thanks in advance for any guidance — this seems like a subtle configuration issue, and I’d love to hear how to get over it. I can provide the Team ID and bundle ID upon request. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I’ve tried: •Regenerating both App IDs and provisioning profiles •Revoking and re-creating distribution certificates •Cleaning derived data and re-downloading profiles from Xcode Every time, creating a profile for App Store Connect will fail to include the capabilities the app has been approved for.

If I have, say a doctor appointment in the Calendar app, and I'm leaving to go to it, the address will appear in Apple Maps on CarPlay. Forgive if I'm getting the details wrong, but I believe if I bring up the Map, it will be available to tap on, so I can quickly go there. I think it may also show up on one on the car-play screens that shows a few different panels. The point is, I really like this feature, and want to do it in my app. In my iOS app, the user can order food from a restaurant, and pick it up. I'm not ready to make this app a "quick service" app, but I want to give the user an easy to get to her location. Since I just ordered food, this means that I'll need to leave fairly quickly to go to the location. The Calendar app is able to offer a location because of scheduling, I'd like to do the same.

I have been using Universal Links since January of this year. As of January, it was working fine, but when I checked its operation in August, it was no longer working properly. After investigating, I believe that the reason it is not working is because our firewall is blocking communication from AppleCDN to check for AASA files. Our firewall blocks communication from outside Japan, and Apple's IP address (17.0.0.0/8) is whitelisted. Does anyone know the hostname or IP address that is used to check AASA files? If you know, please let me know.
