Apple Intelligence on Workspace ONE
Hello! It's my first time posting in this forum. Apple Intelligence is enabled by default in Workspace ONE (WS1). I was wondering if Apple Intelligence can access or process corporate data within (WS1) corporate apps, which are containerized? Thank you!

optimize Application performance about background exit
Hello, I am currently optimizing the performance of my application. I would like to obtain information about users being killed after leaving the application in the background, in order to evaluate whether the application is running normally in the background. I noticed that there is a Background Termination information in Xcode ->Organizer that records background exits. I would like to know the rules for obtaining this information and what is the health standard for this indicator on the Apple side?

Issue with Live CallerID URL Caching
I've been testing the Live CallerID feature using the Apple-provided local server example - live-caller-id-lookup-example. I've been running a local server with tunneling using ngrok for the initial setup. Everything was working perfectly with the following setup: @main final class CallerID: LiveCallerIDLookupProtocol { var context: LiveCallerIDLookupExtensionContext { LiveCallerIDLookupExtensionContext( serviceURL: URL(string: "https://example-tunnel.ngrok.io")!, tokenIssuerURL: URL(string: "https://example-tunnel.ngrok.io")!, userTierToken: Data(base64Encoded: "BBBB")! ) } } However, after I updated the URLs to the production ones, I encountered an issue: @main struct CallerID: LiveCallerIDLookupProtocol { var context: LiveCallerIDLookupExtensionContext { LiveCallerIDLookupExtensionContext( serviceURL: URL(string: "https://example.net/")!, tokenIssuerURL: URL(string: "https://example/issue")!, userTierToken: Data(base64Encoded: "BBBB")! ) } } The problem is that during calls or when updating PIR parameters, the application still attempts to connect to the initial ngrok tunnel URLs instead of using the new production URLs. I can confirm this because the logs on my local server show incoming requests, indicating that the application is still referencing the old ngrok tunnel URLs. Steps I’ve taken to resolve the issue include: Deleting and reinstalling the application. Using reset(forExtensionWithIdentifier:) Unfortunately, these attempts have not been successful. I even extracted the binary of the app and extension to inspect the strings, confirming that the correct production URLs are present. The server was started with the following command: PIRService --hostname 127.0.0.1 service-config.json Could this be some sort of caching bug on the iOS side, or am I missing something?

How to Properly Request Full Access to Contacts After User Selects Limited Access?
Hello Apple Developers, I’m developing an iOS app that requires access to the user’s contacts. I understand that starting from iOS 14, Apple introduced two levels of contact permissions: 1️⃣ Full Access – The app can read all contacts. 2️⃣ Limited Access – The app can only access contacts selected by the user. My Question: If a user initially grants Limited Access, is it allowed by Apple’s guidelines to request Full Access later? 🔹 I understand that re-requesting permission immediately after the user denies it is against Apple’s policies. 🔹 However, if the user has already granted Limited Access, and we first show an explanation modal explaining why Full Access is beneficial, can we then prompt them to change their settings via openAppSettings()? 🔹 Alternatively, can we use Permission.contacts.request() again to re-prompt the user for Full Access, or will iOS prevent the permission prompt from appearing again? How We Handle This in the App: 1️⃣ If a user selects Limited Access, we respect their choice and only access their selected contacts. 2️⃣ Later, if Full Access is necessary for an enhanced experience, we display a clear explanation modal explaining why the app needs Full Access. 3️⃣ If the user agrees, we attempt to guide them to openAppSettings(), allowing them to manually change the permission. 4️⃣ However, if Permission.contacts.request() can be used to directly request Full Access again, we would like to know if this is acceptable. We want to ensure that our implementation follows Apple’s privacy guidelines while providing the best user experience. Any official guidance or best practices on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

ManagedSettingStore limits and groups
So what's the point of being able to block unto 50 apps per ManagedSettingStore via store.application.blockedApplications (which works fine) until removing the blocked apps or clearing the store. Where the following occurs if you have a social networking group with more than 9 apps only 9 apps will go back into the group and all the others will go onto the springboard all jumbled if you end up with an empty group then tap into the group, it is removed then during the reset all apps are placed back on to the springboard

CarPlay style API
Is there any way I can get updates when I change CarPlay style settings? I've tried CPSessionConfigurationDelegate.contentStyleChanged and CPTemplateApplicationSceneDelegate.contentStyleDidChange, but they always produce the same result. When I choose: Automatic -> I receive light in case of daylight; Always Dark and Always Show Dark Map toggle on -> dark Always Dark and Always Show Dark Map toggle off -> light. But it seems to be wrong, b/c CarPlay's toolbar is still dark, and I receive light. Is there a way to get a dark style when choosing Always Dark and Always Show Dark Map toggle off? Or at least get updates when the Always Show Dark Map toggle changes?

iPadOS Sysdiagnose - invoke via API
Hello, I would like to ask if there is any possibility to invoke the Apple Sysdiagnose via an API call. I cannot find any API reference for Sysdiagnose. I am aware only about the manually invocation. https://it-training.apple.com/tutorials/support/sup075/ However, this is pretty annoying since a reproduction of a hunted bug takes several hours, so I am looking for the way how to invoke Sysdiagnose from our code.

Date that is not linked to TimeZone
Hello, I'm creating an app that stores multiple Date objects: the users selects a date and a time and receives a notification at this time precisely. The problem that happens is after saving a Date, if the device's timezone changes, the Date also changes - and that is not what's I'm expecting (just want the original time as is without depending on timezone). I have inspected the TimeZone properties when I'm building the Date from DateComponents but nothing has worked. Thank you for your answer.

Universal Links not working even though all debug steps succeed
I am trying to get universal links to work in our app Firefox iOS The Problem: I am not able to get universal links to work for our release app or beta app scheme locally or with a TestFlight build. I am able to get it working on our development scheme with a locally hosted app site association file. I also was able to get it working using our development scheme but setting the bundle id to the release app bundle id. I also built a demo app with the release app id and the release app development certificate. It succeeded there as well. Implementation Steps: Added associated domains entitlement to the production and beta schemes for our main app target (No associated domains entitlements or capabilities added for any extensions) Confirmed that the bundle ids associated with these schemes have the associated domains capability Added applinks:blog.mozilla.org to associated domains list Confirmed in code that user activities are being handled via SceneDelegate.swift Steps to Debug: I have gone through and validated every step in the provided Universal Link Debugging. All were successful: Associated Domains Development -> Diagnostics: Opens Installed App Validate AASA host and applinks match curl -v https://blog.mozilla.org/.well-known/apple-app-site-association returns the expected json file swcutil dl correctly downloads the AASA blob swcutil verify succeeds I have inspected the IPA of our beta build and confirmed the App ID and the associated domains is an entitlement. I have looked at the console logs filtering by swcd. I am not seeing any errors and I see the download for the AASA file kick off: Beginning data task AASA-4BABF039-3C69-4E36-AA4E-ECCDF3D14878 { domain: bl….mo….org, bytes: 0, route: cdn } There is only one error that appears in the console but our app is not enterprise-managed so I assume this is normal. Error getting enterprise-managed associated domains data. If this device is not enterprise-managed, this is normal: Error Domain=SWCErrorDomain Code=1701 "Failed to get associated domain data from ManagedConfiguration framework." UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=Failed to get associated domain data from ManagedConfiguration framework., Line=298, Function=<private>} I have run Sysdiagnos and identified for our App ID: Site/Fmwk Approval: approved I am at a loss as to what is preventing universal links from working even though all validation steps pass.

Message Filter Extension Not Triggering on iPhone 12 Pro (iOS 16.7) but Works on iPhone 11 (iOS 16.6)
Hi Team, We’re encountering a device-specific issue with our SMS Message Filter extension. The extension works as expected on an iPhone 11 running iOS 16.6, but it does not trigger on an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 16.7. Key Observations: The extension is implemented using ILMessageFilterExtension and calls messageFilterOffline(appGroupIdentifier:for:) from our shared library. The App Group is properly configured and accessible across the app and extension. The extension is enabled under Settings > Messages > Unknown & Spam. There are no crashes or error logs reported on the affected device. The issue is consistently reproducible — it works on one device but not the other. We’re wondering if this could be a regression or a device-specific behavior change introduced in iOS 16.7. Has anyone encountered similar inconsistencies in Message Filter extensions across different iOS versions or device models? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Weatherkit API times out at 7am EST
I've noticed that very consistently the Weatherkit API times out when I make a large(-ish) number of calls at 7am east coast time. If I make x calls between 7:00:00 and 7:01:00 about half of them time out (as do retries.) If I make 2x the calls between 7:15:00 and 7:16:00 there are close to zero time outs. I've looked at the logs, at the calls per second, etc., and there is no difference between 7 and 7:15. So, I'm not hitting a rate limit. It seems like Weatherkit itself just can't handle the traffic at peak times. Is there any other explanation? Does Apple intend to make sure the API can handle all the traffic they are getting paid to handle?

Any way to adjust the speechRecognitionMetadata pause duration?
Speech Framework I've been checking for SFSpeechRecognitionMetadata to determine the end of a sentence when using Voice Recognition. Yet it doesn't detect small pauses but only large ones, so that I've transcribed basically an entire paragraph before going onto the next one. Besides implementing your own timer, are there any other ways to have more natural pauses to detect the end of sentences, similar to the browser's Web Speech recognition? Since it's in Safari, I assume there should be some similar feature that can be equivalent in MacOS.

Issue with UWB ranging on DWM3001CDK using NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration in Background mode
Hi, I’m trying to perform UWB ranging between an iPhone and a Qorvo DWM3001CDK accessory using Apple NI’s NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration class. I’ve followed the steps described in the official Apple documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/nearbyinteraction/ninearbyaccessoryconfiguration), specifically for enabling background mode using the init(accessoryData:bluetoothPeerIdentifier:) initializer. The configuration is successfully created, and background mode is enabled. However, when the iPhone starts the session, I doesn’t receive any ranging data from the DWM3001CDK, and the session ends with a timeout. Interestingly, if I use the init(data:) initializer, I can successfully receive ranging data, but this only works in foreground mode, which doesn’t meet my requirements. Steps I’ve followed: Used Core Bluetooth to discover and pair the accessory. Retrieved the configuration data from the accessory according to the third-party UWB device specifications. Initialized the configuration using NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration(accessoryData:bluetoothPeerIdentifier:) for background mode. Started the session with NISession.run(configuration). Waited for updates in the delegate method session(_:didUpdate:). Specific questions: Are there additional requirements for using init(accessoryData:bluetoothPeerIdentifier:) to enable background UWB ranging with the DWM3001CDK? Is there a known difference in how init(data:) and init(accessoryData:bluetoothPeerIdentifier:) handle the ranging process? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
