In the actual development, I found that I could not complete the setting of my icloud+ customised email domain name SMTP.
I tried to configure the SMTP of iCloud custom email according to Apple's document (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525) but the error
I looked through Apple's support file, but I didn't find the specific configuration of iCloud + customised email SMTP.

Basically, I always charge my phone at night to my limit 85%, but when I installed the iOS 18.3 beta 3, my iPhone charged to 100% at night when I was having always limit to 85%, my phone was overheated too. Did that only happened to me? Because I even checked and it’s on 85% limit.
My imessage has been acting up for 1 month now. It fails to activate my phone number and prefers my email. This is a beta issue Apple support has told me and it needs fixing asap.

My main app is CardView based w/programmatic navigation.. My secondary app is a nice EventListView w/programmatic navigation. Both are functional with no errors.
I want to add an event list to my CardView app but the appearance is all wrong. See image. The blue swirl at bottom is all of my List that appears.
I can post images of code, if needed.
My question is this - can I combine CardViews and ListViews?

I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type.
Setup:
Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar"
Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics
Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins.
Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents.
Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform.
iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed.
I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets.
Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?

Hi,
EtreCheck
I could really use some help with this, as I haven’t been able to find much concrete info.
I mistakenly updated my MacBook to the 15.5 beta, and while I can’t say with 100% certainty that the issues started immediately after, I’ve been experiencing consistent kernel panics every time the machine wakes from sleep — it restarts completely and throws an error.
I’m really hoping this isn’t a hardware issue. The MacBook is just over two years old, and I rely on it daily for work — replacing it right now isn’t an option.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a Time Machine backup to roll back to. I’ve already wiped the machine and reinstalled macOS via recovery mode, and Apple Diagnostics isn’t showing any hardware problems.
Just to rule it out: I’m not using any external devices — no docks, Thunderbolt accessories, or anything else plugged in.
I came across EtreCheck as a recommended tool, and I’ve included the results below. If anyone is able to help interpret them or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve since unenrolled from the beta and turned off automatic updates — I’m just hoping this is a beta-related bug that resolves with the next stable release.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I'm building a Live Activity using ActivityKit in iOS, and I'm trying to understand how apps like Uber or Lyft manage to keep the Dynamic Island always in its expanded state, without transitioning through the compact phase.
In my implementation, the Live Activity always starts in the compact state, and only expands temporarily when I interact with it. I've tried the following:
Updating the ContentState frequently using activity.update(using:)
I tried updating the activity every 1 second, but it didn’t make a difference.
Leaving the compactLeading, compactTrailing, and minimal regions empty using EmptyView() — also didn’t change the behavior.
Delaying the initial update by 1 second — no effect.
What I'm trying to figure out:
Is there any way to programmatically force or request the Dynamic Island to stay in the expanded state?
Could this behavior be achieved through push updates, using apns-push-type: liveactivity and a high priority (apns-priority)?
What I’m trying to achieve is similar to the behavior shown in the images below — the apps do not transition to the compact island, but instead displays the expanded view immediately.
Example:
Yo i installed IOS 26 Beta to see how it is, and I want it to downgrade but Checking for Updates are unavailable and my iPhone 14 Pro is lagging i have 20-30 fps or something like that.
And these Icons don’t wanna talk about it 🙏

What is the safest way to rename a project so the app still works using Xcode 14.2. I’ve seen instructions using earlier versions of Xcode but with the latest version it’s a bit confusing.

Back in December 2024 I noticed when I go through the steps to print I would get an error to cancel or retry. We have 4 iPhones and 3 had the newest IOS and those 3 would get the same error. The phone that had old ios 17 something the print would work. Called Apple and did troubleshooting, the opened something on apples end for the developer to investigate. Within 2 weeks a new ios was available and fixed the issue on the 3 phones that could not print. I did the latest update February and March 2025 on all 4 phones thinking no way the issue will happen again and if did all 4 phone cannot print. Is there an iOS bug that is affecting printing ios 18.3.2.

Hi,
Am using fastlane to upload into TestFlight. Am able to successfully upload the build without any issues.
For Testing Internally , I want to upload the build into App Store Connect but I should restrict it on submitting to App Store. ( This is possible when i distribute the app via TestFlight Internal Only from XCode -> Organizer -> Distribute App (Select option with TestFlight Internal Only). I want to achieve the same using either Transporter/ fastlane.
I tried setting buildAudienceType to INTERNAL_ONLY as per https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/buildaudiencetype but it is not working.
Can you suggest how i can achieve this via fastlane?
Hello! I just realized thaty I had signed up for this developer account some time ago without making any meaningful attempt to introduce myself other than attending a few of the Apple meetups at NeurIPS and ICML conferences. As a quick introduction I come from a background in open source development, most notably associated with the "Automunge" python library for dataframe encodings / missing data infill. I also have some background supporting Apple in context of volunteering as an executive officer for an IEEE Standards Association working group developing floating point arithmetic / data types for machine learning. Beyond that have been a dedicated user with frequent product feedback to various channels over the years. I am currently self employed and focussing on building an IP portfolio and investing. I am always open to share dialogue as to how to help advance the field, hope that I might get a chance to meet a few more of this communty at some point. Best regards, Nicholas Teague

When using a VStack containing two TextFields inside a ScrollView on an iPad running iOS 18.0, the FocusState of the topmost TextField does not trigger, while the second TextField's FocusState works correctly. Adding an invisible TextField on top resolves the issue, but it appears to be a bug specifically in iOS 18.0 on iPads. This issue does not occur on iOS versions below or above 18.0 (including iOS 18.1).
Code that is not working
struct ContentView: View {
@State var text: String = ""
@FocusState
private var focusState: Bool
var body: some View {
ScrollView(.vertical, content: {
VStack(spacing: 0) {
TextField(text: $text) {
Text("Hello, World!")
}
.border(focusState ? Color.red : Color.gray)
.focused($focusState)
.onChange(of: focusState) { oldValue, newValue in
print(newValue)
}
.onChange(of: text) { oldValue, newValue in
focusState = true
}
}
})
.padding()
}
}
Code that is working
struct ContentView: View {
@State var text: String = ""
@FocusState
private var focusState: Bool
var body: some View {
ScrollView(.vertical, content: {
VStack(spacing: 0) {
// Invisible Text Field
TextField("", text: .constant(""))
.frame(height: 0)
TextField(text: $text) {
Text("Hello, World!")
}
.border(focusState ? Color.red : Color.gray)
.focused($focusState)
.onChange(of: focusState) { oldValue, newValue in
print(newValue)
}
.onChange(of: text) { oldValue, newValue in
focusState = true
}
}
})
.padding()
}
}
Created an ios app and try to scan for nearby bluetooth devices but didn't manage to find my Macbook (M1 Pro, Sequoia).
How can it be done?
Trying to match the peripheral name but didn't get it.
The purpose of this is to try to see if the App can act as a FIDO2 Token to have the close proximity feature.
