That time of year again. I’ve tried multiple restarts, and it still won’t load. I’m not sure if/how to remove the beta profile at this point (that seems to have worked for previous betas), given that the beta settings are hidden.

I'm getting an error when trying to login to iCloud.com. This only happens on my Windows 11 pc and not on my iPhone. I get the 2FA code on my phone, but on my pc it displays only the error. I also have checked the system status page from apple and everything is green there, so i have no idea what is happening.
Hello Apple Arcade Team,
My partner and I are indie developers building premium spatial games for Apple platforms. We’ve created Cup Pong Galaxy, a 100% spatial game written specifically for Apple Vision Pro and we’d love to have it considered for Apple Arcade.
***** At-a-glance *****
Title: Cup Pong Galaxy
Platform: Designed from the ground up for Vision Pro (spatial gameplay)
Status: Approved for distribution on the App Store (release on hold pending Arcade interest)
TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/aCBcUUJb (fully functional build)
Game Footage:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGoJTfUwTdg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPExWW94ZvQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJOKXVhRShA
***** Why it stands out for Apple Arcade *****
Original spatial mechanics: Natural throwing using custom hand gestures and a physics-accurate ping pong system built for Vision Pro.
Innovative collision system: Each animated alien has per-body-part collision objects that follow the armature's animation, allowing ping pong balls to bounce realistically off arms, legs, and heads.
Epic scale: 10 unique worlds with over 50 animated 3D alien characters, 150+ unique 3D obstacles, and 100 total levels.
Boss fights: Defeat bosses by hitting specific body parts with ping pong balls in full 3D space — we haven’t seen this implemented elsewhere on the App Store.
Cinematic world progression: Animated 3D level maps and victory scenes as players conquer worlds.
***** Business/fit *****
No ads or in-app purchases; prepared to align with Apple Arcade guidelines.
Actively adding Game Center integration.
We’ve started work on a second VisionOS game and would love to understand what makes a game a great fit for Arcade.
We’d be grateful if you could review Cup Pong Galaxy and let us know if there’s interest or point us to the correct person/process for Apple Arcade submissions. Any feedback is welcome — it will help us improve our next VisionOS game as well.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

After updating to the newest beta on my iPhone 16 I'm stuck on this screen after accepting the terms:
No Internet Connection
Setup and activation of Apple Intelligence is unavailable when your device is offline. Connect to the internet and try again.
I tried several different networks and 5G but no luck..
Hi I experience this problem after update to the newest developer beta software on my iphone 17 pro:
blackmagic camera said "storage full" although it is not
final cut camera said "close and open the app again"
It still works with prores (not raw).
Anyone has the same problem as mine?
I did try uninstall and reinstall the app and also restart the phone, try using different external ssd drive but nothing works.

Hi everyone,
We're facing an issue with Universal Links on iOS 18 and above. The problem seems related to how iOS handles redirects before reaching a Universal Link.
✅ Working Link (direct):
When we open this direct Universal Link, the app opens as expected: 👉 https://dl.punchh.com/deeplinks/logansroadhouse/
❌ Not Working (redirected link):
This marketing/tracking link eventually redirects to the above Universal Link, but on iOS 18+, it opens the App Store or a browser instead of the app: 👉 https://ip2.loyalty.logansroadhouse.com/ls/click?upn=...
The same redirect link works fine on iOS 17 and below — it opens the app.

So I got charged the annual developer fee on December 2024, and then again this February 2025.
Worse, a few days after getting charged twice, I received an email from Apple saying my developer account subscription has been suspended due to failure in paying the annual fee.
I already submitted a support ticket to Apple, but I haven't gotten a response yet.
Is there something else I can do?
Would appreaciate any help.
Thanks!
I paid for my developer account on the 13th of June 2024 (1 week ago). My ID was approved.
However, I still don't have access to the account.
When I go to check the status of it, it is asking me to pay again.
I then tried to email the team, however only received useless, timewasting responses, such as "Please go to developer.apple.com/enroll to enroll for an apple dev account", which I already told them prompts me to pay again and verify my ID again.
I then tried to call them, and they said they had to re-verify my ID and would call me back in 10 mins, but I never received a call back.
I also couldn't call them again because it wouldn't let me request another call from them. I then emailed them, but still haven't received a response.
The next day I tried to request another call from them, during their opening hours at Thursday 4pm AEST, (they are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm AEST see https://developer.apple.com/support/worldwide-telephone-hours/) however it still says that "Phone support is currently unavailable".
I tried to email them but now I am getting no responses at all.
I tried to contact the apple support through the iMessage chat, however I was only put on call with a lady who was helpful, but couldn't even do anything as she was only generic support. She couldn't even schedule me a call or transfer me to the developer team, even though it was within their working and calling/support hours.
I have tried to refund my developer account, but apparently that purchase is "illegible for a refund".
This is the treatment I get from apple for paying $100 USD.
An entire week of being left on blank.
I don't know what to do. I paid 100 bucks for an account which I can't even use, and the support hasn't helped me for an entire week. My emails being left on blank, and I can't even call them.
If anyone from apple or anyone that could help me sees this, please contact me ASAP at makrypodisc@ hotmail.com or reply to this thread.
Thank you.

This wasn't happening until I updated Xcode to 16.2 (I'm using Sequoia 15.2). When I run any Mac app, I get these errors:
Can't find or decode reasons
Failed to get or decode unavailable reasons
Can't find or decode disabled use cases
I even got these errors running "Hello, world" which tells me that either I need to reinstall or there is a bug.
Thanks for any help,
-Ashley
A few days ago I installed beta 1 of macOS 26 Tahoe on a spare MacBook Pro 14-inch M4. Everything went well, and it looks okay (well, I don't like it at all, but hey-ho), and I shut it down.
I started it up today, and it rejects my login password every time, then locks my account. When I click the link to "Restart and show password reset options" I'm asked for my Apple ID details, so I enter the correct email and password, then the MBP reboots and I'm back on the login screen with no indication that anything has changed.
Guess I'm stuck now... FB18364657

Ok, so I’ve downloaded iOS 26 for the iPhone and iPad and there are a couple of points bugging me.
Why oh why would somebody think that it was a good idea to remove the ability to scroll through photos in a folder in files?
Where in their tiny minds did they think that opening a photo, viewing said photo, then closing photo to then open the next photo in sequence was a better or more productive way than just swiping left and right?
I mean, seriously!!!
And why the need for a separate Preview app when it worked fine opening files in the Files app?!
I deleted the Preview app from my iPhone to see what difference it would make, but alas it made things worse. Now, because there’s no Preview app, Files wants to open my photos in an image editing app called Afterlite!
I checked settings for the files app, and the only options I have for opening photos are Afterlite (which it’s decided to make default), the Photoshop app, or iMovie!
Does anyone have any ideas how to get photos stored in the Files app to open IN the Files app or at least the Photos app?
Just when I thought they’d come to their senses and sorted out that god awful iOS 18 Photos app, they go and do something like this!
Also, can someone explain to me what the point is of having a month and year view in the Photos app?
When I sort by month and pick a particular month or date in a month, instead of showing just those images taken that month, it just takes you back to the view with ALL of your photos?
Surely if you have thousands of photos on your device and you want to see only photos on a particular date, it would make sense to show only the photos from that date.
Even if it generated automatic albums under the album view for each month and year that would be something!
Cannot download FCPX that was purchased few yerars ago on Macbook pro with Tahoe OS beta. App do not show on my downloaded apps
This is my first problem and my first question hopefully somebody can help or give me some suggestions. I was in the developr beta of IOS 26 build(235260n) for a while I haven't updated it since the new beat has came out, beta 3. I have been trying to update requested, after about 20 seconds it goes away but does not start the download the update. The problem also begins to download something into the system beta goes from 22.85 GB to 33.78 GB. It just holds the update but doesn't;t update the phone. I have tried power cycling the device and everytime I do that it just resets the system data and allows up to try the update again. Unsure what to do and don't know if I would need to wait for the public beta for IOS26 to change anything on the device. Please let me know if you guys have any more suggestions what should be the next step. I also was unsure if I should backup the device and reinstall it to make sure that its not something with the conncetion.

Hey everyone anyone having any issues with some apps not loading or opening since upgrading
Dear Community,
We are in the process of developing a mobile banking application and have a key requirement related to NFC-based peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions. Our goal is to enable secure and seamless money transfers between two devices using NFC.
Business Requirement:
The application will provide a feature where users can initiate money transfers via NFC.
The sender starts an NFC payment session from their device.
Simultaneously, the receiver starts an NFC session to accept the payment.
The sender's device should be able to detect the receiver’s NFC tag and process the transaction securely.
We would like to confirm whether iOS supports such a use case.
Your guidance on the feasibility of this feature, along with any technical or policy-related considerations, would be highly valuable.
Looking forward to your response.
Looking to start developing at Swift. What is the best way to get started with a job related to Swift development? Is there any specific demanded certification I could pursue?
Thank you.
The MacStudio has only one account on it, and that is of course an admin account. The password to this account is lost. The MacStudio has an association with my AppleID I log into developer.apple.com with. To recover, this procedure was followed:
The recovery mode was entered by holding down the power key for 15 seconds.
In the options that appeared the "Forgot all passwords" option was clicked on.
I entered the same credentials I log into developer.apple.com with. The credentials were accepted.
The shell was launched, and the in the shell the command "resetpasswords" entered.
The message: "If you don't know the password for any user on your Mac, you can deactivate your Mac and set new passwords for all users. An internet connection will be required to reactivate your Mac". Beneath this message there was in blue text: "Deactivate Mac".
I did not proceed after this because I was not sure what deactivation would mean for the files on the computer. On it there is code written in Swift that needs to be preserved. If the deactivation is done will the files be preserved, and be accessible? Or does a deactivation remove all files?

Hello everyone,
I’m currently developing a Playground App for the Swift Student Challenge, and its core functionality relies heavily on Shortcuts Automation, App Shortcuts, and interactions with the Focus Mode status (e.g., reading Focus Status or execute Focus Filter).
Before finalizing my submission, I’d like to clarify whether these features will function as expected during the review process. Specifically:
Shortcuts Automation: My app uses custom shortcuts to trigger actions within the Playground. Will reviewers be able to test these shortcuts seamlessly, or do I need to provide explicit instructions for enabling/setting them up?
App Shortcuts: The app integrates system-level App Shortcuts (via App Intents). Are these supported in the test environment, and will reviewers see them during testing?
Focus Status Interaction: The app dynamically responds to changes in the device’s Focus Mode (e.g., adjusting UI and function based on FocusStatus). Does the evaluation environment allow access to Focus Status data, and are there restrictions on simulating Focus Mode changes?
I want to ensure these features are testable and don’t lead to unexpected issues during review. Any insights or advice from past participants, mentors, or Apple experts would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your guidance!

Here’s a detailed report you can submit to Apple Support:
Subject: Critical Issue with Emergency Reset Feature in Safety Check
Dear Apple Support Team,
I am writing to report a significant issue with the Emergency Reset feature in the Safety Check tool on iOS devices. This feature, designed to immediately revoke access to user data in emergency situations, is not functioning as intended, leaving users potentially vulnerable to data breaches or privacy violations.
Issue Details
The Emergency Reset feature fails to stop sharing permissions for certain Apple apps, specifically Fitness (linked to Apple Health) and Home (linked to HomeKit). When attempting to reset all sharing permissions using Emergency Reset, the system displays an error message stating:
“Unable to Stop Sharing. A problem occurred when attempting to stop sharing with Fitness and Home. Stop sharing directly within these apps.”
Concerns with Fitness App (Apple Health)
• The Fitness app integrates with Apple Health, which allows third-party apps to access sensitive health data, such as activity metrics, workouts, and more.
• When Emergency Reset fails, third-party apps may retain access to this data until users manually revoke permissions through Settings, which contradicts the promise of an “immediate reset.”
Concerns with Home App (HomeKit Framework)
• The Home app, which manages smart home devices via the HomeKit framework, also fails to revoke permissions during Emergency Reset.
• This could leave third-party devices or shared users with continued access to smart home settings, such as cameras, locks, and sensors, which poses a serious security risk.
Vulnerability Implications
1. Potential for Exploitation by Third Parties:
• Third-party apps and devices integrated via Apple Health or HomeKit could continue to access sensitive information if Emergency Reset fails.
• This opens a window for malicious actors to exploit incomplete revocation of permissions.
2. Emergency Situations:
• The feature is critical for users in emergencies (e.g., fleeing abusive relationships or addressing a data breach), but its reliance on manual interventions undermines its effectiveness.
• Users may not have the time or knowledge to manually revoke permissions in multiple apps during emergencies.
Broader Concerns
• The distinction between the Home app (user-facing interface) and HomeKit (framework) adds confusion. Users may believe Emergency Reset applies to all HomeKit-enabled devices, but this does not appear to be the case.
• The issue may extend to other Apple apps or third-party integrations not explicitly mentioned, creating a broader vulnerability across the iOS ecosystem.
Recommendations for Resolution
To address this critical issue, I recommend the following actions:
1. Fix Emergency Reset:
• Ensure that Emergency Reset fully revokes all sharing permissions for apps like Fitness and Home, including any linked third-party integrations.
• Conduct extensive testing to confirm the feature’s functionality across all apps and frameworks.
2. Enhance Transparency:
• Clearly communicate any limitations of the Emergency Reset feature to users, including apps or frameworks that require manual intervention.
• Provide clear in-app guidance on how to manually revoke permissions for affected apps.
3. Improve App and Framework Integration:
• Update the Fitness and Home apps to allow users to globally revoke all third-party access directly within these apps.
• Strengthen the integration between Emergency Reset and frameworks like HealthKit and HomeKit to ensure full coverage.
4. Audit and Monitor:
• Conduct a security audit of the Emergency Reset feature to identify and patch additional gaps.
• Regularly update users on progress and any enhancements made to the feature.
User’s Immediate Actions
While waiting for a resolution, I have taken the following steps to manually revoke permissions:
1. For Fitness: I reviewed and revoked third-party access in Settings > Privacy > Health > Sharing.
2. For Home: I reviewed device sharing settings in the Home app and removed shared users and devices as needed.
3. I also reviewed permissions for other apps via Settings > Privacy to ensure no unauthorized access remains.
Conclusion
The Emergency Reset feature is critical for user safety and privacy, particularly in emergencies. However, its current functionality fails to deliver on its promise of comprehensive and immediate protection, leaving users exposed to significant risks. I urge Apple to prioritize resolving these issues and strengthening this feature to maintain the high standards of privacy and security that users expect from Apple.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am happy to provide additional details or screenshots if needed.
Sincerely,
