Can you please apply that variation selector to all your Unicode characters? I) Steps to reproduce the issue: navigate in safari to the page https://eurovot.com/vs.htm II) Expected result: as the 1st column of characters have the Variation Selector-15 (U+FE0E) applied, and the 2nd column have the Variation Selector-16 (U+FE0F) applied, the first column should always display text characters (in orange) and the second column emoji characters. III) Error result: some characters are working fine in the 1st column and displayed as text (in orange colour), but some other aren't displayed as text, they wrongly displayed as emojis instead.

On iPhone 16 running iOS 18.0(Xcode 16.2), cookies configured with SameSite=None; Secure fail to apply correctly—iOS forcibly converts the attribute to SameSite=Lax. Hi, I'm using a webview in Swift, where I load an html file locally. Basically I have an angular project built and loaded directly into my app bundle. The webview requires the use of the camera. I request permissions via and javascript, the pop-up appears, I accept the permissions and the app works correctly. Only that after a certain number of seconds, the permissions are requested again. It's as if the webview doesn't cache the accepted permissions. Is this normal behavior?

Our understanding: a Merchant ID can hold several PPCs over time, but only one is active at once. Questions Is there any supported way to keep more than one PPC active simultaneously for the same Merchant ID? If not, what does Apple recommend for web-only, multi-tenant setups: a single MID with PSP-side decryption & sub-merchant separation, or separate MIDs per brand/region? Any official guidance on PPC rotation and handling many domains for Apple Pay on the Web? links to official docs or prior Apple responses would be appreciated.

As you see in the image, when I fullscreen in WKWebView, it shows black instead of the webpage in full screen. It works fine in Sequoia. It has happened to me since beta 1, but I post it now, because we’re in beta 8 and it’s not fixed. What’s going on? Can somebody tell me if they have the same issue?

This post is an effort to draw attention to a regression in Tahoe that has a large impact on our app. This bug was filed during seed 3 but remains open: FB18869578: Regression: WebView fails to render fonts registered with CTFontManagerRegisterFontURLs or ATSApplicationFontsPath The gist of it is that WKWebView fails to render text that is styled with a “font-family” that references a font that has been loaded into the app using either the ATSApplicationFontsPath Info.plist key or loaded dynamically with CTFontManagerRegisterFontURLs. The area where the text should be is just blank. There is more detail and a reproducer in the bug referenced above. We really hope this bug can get fixed before GA. I'm developing a cross-platform application using Tauri, which uses WebView technology as the GUI renderer. On macOS, it should be using WKWebView. Based on my tests, all applications developed with Tauri can only run at 60fps on macOS and cannot take advantage of ProMotion displays to achieve a 120fps refresh rate, whereas the same application can run at 120fps on other platforms. I have submitted this issue to Tauri on GitHub, and it appears that this cannot be resolved through external settings, but only by modifying the WKWebView code to support higher frame rates. Is there any possible solution to this?

My iOS app uses a WKWebView with a WKUIDelegate method (webView:createWebViewWithConfiguration:forNavigationAction:windowFeatures:) to handle popup windows. This works for most cases, but during OAuth flows on certain sites (e.g., canva.com), the popup WKWebView attempts to send results back to the main WKWebView using JavaScript like window.opener.postMessage(...). However, window.opener is always null in the popup, preventing the message from being posted and blocking login completion.I've researched this and found suggestions that it's by design, as WKWebView instances are isolated for security reasons. Has anyone encountered this and found a reliable workaround (e.g., bridging communication between the main and popup WKWebViews without relying on window.opener)?

Currently, im on MacOS Tahoe 26 Public Beta 2, build number 25A5327h. I just recently updated to this, and now, whenever I open some sites like Amazon, or ChatGPT, it freezes my entire browser and I have to force quit it. I tried deleting the SpeakSelection.plist file which everyone swore worked, but not for me. Is this because the new update messed with resource allocation or did my user data corrupt mid-update and i have to transfer all my stuff to a new user?

Hello. I have a project that loads a page using jquery 3.6.3 in WKWebView. When I try this on iOS developer beta 4, WKWebView malfunctions and the page does not load properly. If I remove jquery, the page loads. Even if I update jquery to the latest version, the problem remains the same. This problem did not occur until developer beta 3. I recently updated my iPhone 12 to iOS 26. It seems there is a bug rendering Safari unable to "add to home screen" any website. Clicking the button displays a blank modal with Add button greyed out.

Hi, How are we supposed to handle links with target="_blank" in the new SwiftUI WebView? I don't see anything in WebPage.NavigationDeciding or elsewhere that corresponds to the delegate method used for WKWebView.
