Im having the same issue. I have created my very first app and kept it simple no API calls, no ads, no copyright. My app has been in review since 10/13 (10 days as of this post). I have submitted and email to Apple 3 business days ago but have not gotten a response. Being that this is my first app, I fully expected some delays but it looks like its happening to other developers as well. I hope its not some kind of bug with the submission of the apps..
