Reply to **Stuck in "Waiting for Review" since October 8 — no response from App Review**
Adding my app to the list. I first submitted it on September 27. It was initially rejected because the privacy policy link was missing from the app description. I fixed that immediately and resubmitted. A few days later, I received another rejection saying the app had crashed. I checked the crash log, but there was no clear indication of what caused it. The only thing I noticed was that the reviewer was testing on iPadOS 27, which was still in beta at the time and wasn't available on my end. I replied to the review team for clarification and resubmitted. The next rejection was because the reviewer couldn't get past the onboarding screen, even though the instructions on how to complete it were displayed on the screen. Other reviewers had managed to get through it without any issues. I replied again, made sure the instructions were clear, and resubmitted. Now, after addressing each issue raised by the review team, my app has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for almost a month. I've also requested an expedited review, but I'm still waiting. It's frustrating when you're actively responding to feedback and fixing issues, only to end up waiting this long without any meaningful update.

Not sure where the bottleneck is. It’s just taking ages! I recently submitted two apps for review: App 1: A simple version bump, approved within 2–3 days. App 2: A new game, first submitted in late September. Here’s how it went: First rejection: The privacy policy link was missing from the description. I fixed it immediately and resubmitted. Second review: Reviewed the next day, but rejected due to a crash. The crash report didn’t pinpoint exactly where it happened. All I know is that they were testing on iPadOS 27, which was still in beta at the time. My app is iPhone-only, so I’m not sure what happened there. Third rejection: I resubmitted with clarification about their testing device, but it was rejected because they apparently couldn’t follow the instructions on the screen. Latest submission: I added a screen recording showing exactly how to follow the instructions. Now I’ve been waiting in limbo for almost a month. I submitted an expedite request this morning but haven’t heard back yet. Hoping for the best! It just feels like its back to 15 years ago wherein we wait 2-3 months for the app approval.

Game stuck in “Waiting for Review” for 3 weeks, with no meaningful response from Apple I first submitted my game in the second week of September, and it’s been a frustrating experience so far. The first rejection was because the privacy policy link needed to be included in the app description. I fixed that immediately, replied to the review team, and resubmitted. The second rejection was due to a crash that I couldn’t reproduce. After investigating, I noticed that the reviewer was testing on iPadOS 27, which was still in beta on the device I checked. My game is designed for iPhone only, so I explained this to the review team and clarified that I couldn’t reproduce the reported crash. The next rejection stated that the reviewer couldn’t proceed to the main game. There are instructions on the screen that need to be followed before gameplay can begin, so I explained the steps and attached a sample screen recording showing how to get into the game. Since addressing that rejection, my submission has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for around three weeks, with no further updates. I’ve also submitted several requests through App Store Connect asking for an update. Only one received a response, which essentially said that my app hadn’t been forgotten. It was a generic reassurance, with no actual information about what’s happening or when the review might proceed. I’ve addressed each rejection, provided explanations, and even attached a recording to help the reviewer understand how to play the game. At this point, I honestly don’t know what else I can do. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation recently? Has anyone managed to get their submission moving after weeks of waiting and receiving only generic responses from Apple? Honestly, I pay for the Apple Developer membership, and Apple takes a commission of up to 30% on app sales and in-app purchases, yet I can’t even get a meaningful update on my app review. What’s the point of being a paying developer if getting a response about your own submission is this difficult?
