After a user successfully completes a purchase and later requests a refund, how long does it typically take for the refund to be processed and take effect? How does Apple notify developers when a refund has been issued for an in-app purchase? Are there specific mechanisms or recommended approaches to reliably receive such notifications? In cases where users may abuse the refund system (e.g., frequent or malicious refund requests), is there any way for developers to prevent or intervene in the refund process?

“Waiting for Review” taking weeks recently? Our build has been stuck since Feb 14
Hello everyone, I wanted to check whether other developers have recently experienced unusually long “Waiting for Review” times. Our current submission timeline looks like this: Timeline Feb 14, 2026 – Initial build submitted Feb 14 – Present – Status has remained “Waiting for Review” (never entered “In Review”) Feb 18–19 – Contacted App Review support Feb 24 – Received reply that the case was escalated / expedited Feb 26 – Mar 9 – Continued communication with support; each time they confirmed the app is still in the queue and that they contacted the review team Mar 12 – Still Waiting for Review So as of now, the build has been waiting for review for nearly four weeks without ever entering active review. I’m trying to understand whether this is an isolated case or if others are seeing similar delays recently. Questions: Has anyone else experienced multi-week “Waiting for Review” delays recently? If you had a similar situation, did you eventually receive any explanation from the review team? Any recent data points on review times would be really helpful. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

My app has been stuck in "pending review" since February 14th
My app has been stuck in "pending review" since February 14th. There are no new emails in App Store Connect, and the state has not changed. It's not clear what's going on, but right now the whole team is waiting, all looking at the store rules and doing various reviews. I also sent the inquiry form and replied quickly, but it has been nearly a week since the last reply. Does anyone know if this is a normal review delay or should I need to do something else to get my app into a normal state? (Application ID: 6759188592)
